hi all! i was a bit surprised that there wasn't a thread centered around cosplay, so i wanted to make one ^^
for those who don't know, cosplay is when you dress up as a character, just for fun or to attend a convention! it's most common at anime cons but you'll find cosplayers at any general pop culture convention, and sometimes even things like ren faires (i went to one this past weekend and i know i saw a few!)

so, this thread is to talk about anything cosplay-related-- share your upcoming characters, characters you really enjoy doing, stories about encounters while in cosplay, talk about progress on if you make your own outfit pieces, and ask for advice!

i'll go first, this weekend, i'm cosplaying (fem)scout from tf2 at a small local convention :D (it's my version of femscout though, not the version a good chunk of the fandom uses because i'm not fond of that design. it's more akin to normal canon scout if anything else)
i'm really excited!!!
