- What culture are you and what do you do?
Do you guys have a name for it besides Lunar New Year?
Is the way you celebrate traditional?
What's a random fact about Lunar New year that you'd like to share?
And what's your favorite aspect of your culture?:)
I'm Korean and for Seollal I pray to my ancestors multiple times a day and ask them to watch over me and grant me the strength and prosperity to make it through the coming year. As well as ask them to guide me to the right decisions. I also clean, especially around where I pray. Usually I make bulgogi and mandu but I couldn't this year. As a kid I'd have godeungeo-gui, but I can't anymore. I had spam and rice today, which is what I had last year as well simply cause its what I've afforded. It's still good, but someday I'll be rich and I'll feed my family all sorts of fun stuff.
My favorite aspect of my culture is how nice Hanbok looks, I'd wear it daily if I could. Someday I might.

새해 복 많이 받아! <3
