why do people remove the titles of their posts?

i genuinely don't understand it. why do you not want the subject to be in your post? it makes the whole thing look weird, and it's frustrating especially when it's a forum game or something and it pops up on the front page and i can't even see what it is to participate... it just seems pointless to me. is it for aesthetic purposes or something ? i seriously do not understand and mostly find it mildly irritating. i'm NOT trying to start any arguments here, i just find it bizarre and was wondering if there was any reason that i'm not seeing.
