Weird question, but.....

What is the art community's obsession with 'eating' someone's art??? 🤔 I have heard several of my artist friends use the term, but I have always just thought it was them 😅 I've heard others on CS use it too. I am just curious. Please inform this newbie

It is a compliment! It is almost like "looks good enough to eat" I believe, either that or the art is so good that it makes people go crazy for it :3
