Disrespectful things that happened to you/youve seen

obvs don't post usernames of people you're talking about or even imply who you're talking of to a degree where people could find them and harass them. the purpose of this is not to sent hate to other people's way!

i just remembered a time where i joined a discord server and asked specifically for people not to dm me in my introduction because i dislike talking to new people over discord due to past experiences.. and then someone id never spoken to dmed me said that they read my introduction, but "saw it as a challenge to become my friend"

they got blocked + i left the server ^^;;

i just wanna know from anyone- have you dealt with situations where someone was just being blatantly annoying or disrespectful? it doesnt have to be anything big- even something that just slightly irked you. feel free to share!!

Once a woman spotted my cane and started glaring daggers at me for idk being a young adult with a cane I guess? XD I think about that pretty often tbh it's very funny to me. The way her eyes went to my cane then back to my face and if looks could kill I would not be here today lol

This happened last year. Was in an auto-repair shop with my very queer-looking trans-nb bf (masc-sounding voice, wearing a skirt, with a "sounds gay, i'm in" t-shirt on. Gender envy for many at its finest.) and I made a joke about the bathroom signs (it was one of the person with triangle/person without triangle/person with wheelchair signs with a note that said it was an all-genders bathroom and I said "Ah yes, the 3 genders, man, woman and wheelchair." In a clearly joking tone) and the owner took one look at my bf and went "Yeah, people are crazy these days. I'd get sued if I didn't have a gender-ambiguous sign on the bathroom"
Like. WHAT. He eavesdropped on my joke and then had the audacity to butt-in assuming I was making an anti-lgbtq+ joke with my clearly-queer bf RIGHT THERE.

was throwing up once and a woman chucked her kids used diaper right by my head into the garbage can I was puking in. there were several other garbages.

i was working a few years ago and someone brought burgers that had bacon in it. i said i wanted one and one of the guys looked at me and said there's bacon in it and I can't have any coz I'm jewish. (i look kinda Jewish)

About a month ago my mom, grandma, and I went out for dinner. I have tourette’s and my tics were particularly bad that night. This couple later sat across from us and the whole time kept glaring at me and shaking their heads together. I was sitting with two other adults having regular conversations with them. Could this couple not tell it wasn’t intentional? Sometimes maybe I can forgive a rude stare but this was just a very uncomfortable situation.

We got up to leave and once the woman saw my cane she looked at me with an even more rude look somehow
