what's your latest art project?

it can be any art medium or something you consider to be an art!

for me, it's the newest art II project i have. we have to make a partial portrait using 5 colored pencils to make the colors we want on it. it's really hard tbh LOL. i don't like it a lot... i'm also working on a redesign of my oc as i type this.

as of right now most projects i've had in mind of getting done art-wise has been adapting one of my own personal takes on a book that's meaningful to me into a comic format, i still have to work on redesigns as well plus gather various other means of the source's storytelling through a doc but once i do get it all together i just hope i can pull off the actual comic off LOL

thank you so much, i just finished my redesign and it went really well, i love my new design and the colors i put with it. and yeah it feels like it's mostly a miss for me, especially because we have only basic colors to mix with so i can't get much in the department of variation. i hope that goes well for you, that sounds super exciting!

^ WOAH those look absolutely incredible! How long has it taken you to do all those textures?

For me it probably has to be a few commissions I have going right now. I'm a writer for a WIP visual novel game, a short story, a comic and I am also redesigning a fursona for someone as well as creating a character design for another person! Honestly a lot of fun but it does get overwhelming at times, but it's fun to be able to put my writing to use in something other than English class!

As a big fan of writing, I totally agree it can be fun to blend it with other art styles. Pretty much all my pieces have at least a short story to go with them! It sounds like you are very busy though, make sure to take a step back and some time for you so you don't get that art burnout!

I recently got back into an old closed species I was super into back when I was younger (Nordanners on DA if you're curious), so my latest art project has been figuring out who I am artistically again! I have also been re-learning how to do animations and stuff. My more focused latest project is I am telling an arching narrative comic style of a new yearling at my barn!

I have my and my sibling's Pokémon OCs to draw. After that, it's time I start on the picture book I've been meaning to write.
