I love the oboe...it's my non-orchestra instrument along with the bassoon.

I play violin, and maybe a tinee bit of piano xD. For vibrato, I would ay to practice just keeping a finger in one spot and wiggling your hand around, but to me it just came. I don't remember much about it xD
Last year in orchestra, I was a 2nd violin, and this year I'm in 1st. And honestly, in my school, there are too many violins. Over 50% I would say of my school's Advanced Orchestra (which I'm in).

Yeah, practice and me in the sentence...yeah. I'm not bad, considering that I never practice(I've made it up to the 6th Suzuki book), but it really sucks for skills like vibrato. I can do very little like on the C-string or something, but otherwise...

I always sit 1st chair in my orchestra because there are only two cellist, haha.

ooh, cool, trumpet! all the trumpet players in my school are SOO obnoxious. Don't even get me started about our alto saxophones... they BLAST! but trumpet is a cool instrument.

OMG I play clarinet too!!! First chair, and I'm always one of the first in my class picked to go to honor bands and stuff. If only my class were better behaved... I play piano also. And I sing. Musics my life man.
Idk how to double tongue but I might ask my friend James, who plays trumpet, or my band teacher, a really good trombonist... Maybe I'll get back to you on this one.

my friend is really good. she always gets first clarinet which is harder. I get stuck with a 2nd piece xP

second chairs cool by me. In fact, our band teacher yells at a friend of mine a lot for not playing second part when she's supposed to be.
Oh yeah, picked up Tenor Sax this summer. it rocks, I had the book done In less than an hour!

CLarinet, Double bass, electric guitar/bass, Trombone (its my brothers though so i fail) And a little piano. I need help from other bassist. Slap bass. Thoughts? the other guy in my group reallly wants to learn it. but ive heard it can destroy my bridge and strings. Help please

Hm, I see there aren't a lot of guitarists out here...It's quite fun really, except pressing the chords 'cause you gotta press them real hard and it makes your fingertips hurt >.> Other than that, it's really cool.

I'm also part of a band called Kon Art (Yeah, weird name, I know:P). We haven't really written any songs yet, we're currently working on some but for now, I guess we'll stick to covering songs from other bands.(:
