      ahhhh, this is my favorite thread. i lurv sneks so much.
      my store had a ball python they were trying to adopt out since it is more
      difficult to feed. i was going to take it and adopt this other BEAUTIFUL
      cinnamon morph. mum's not fond of snakes though so that went out the
      window pretty quick. so sad. i'll just have to wait until i move, it was difficult
      enough to convince her to let me keep the first ball python i adopted.

Really wanting a milk snake right now.
I've had my first snake (ball python) since 2012. Milks were actually my first choice, but were hard to find where I live, and out of my parents budget for my pets.
Now that I've moved out and have job I'm really itching to finally get one.

    so, my corn snake kaa is sick and he needs injections. I already did them before so I thought it's no big deal. but when he got his first two injections today (he needs water which I only inject just below his skin so he stays hydrated and then the small amount of medication which also has to be below his skin, not inside the muscle) it was just one big mess and almost everything went wrong. I had to poke him several times with both syringes because he just kept pushing up against the needle and I was scared of accidentally pushing it in too far (again, it's just supposed to be below the skin, not inside the muscle) and there was a small amount of blood and everything. of course he was stressed as hell too, the poor baby. at least I managed to get the medication in at last, but now I feel so bad for hurting him. I really want to be able to get him through this with the least amount of stress possible. sadly I can't give him to the vet as they don't take animals in so I have no other option but to do this myself. do any of you have any advice for these kind of things? did you struggle with giving your snakes injections at first, too? I would really love some help ;v;
things just got a lot more relaxed for me, I'll be able to be online more often! responses still won't be instant most times, sorry </3

      they shouldn’t be bred. period. i’m not saying that the existing spiders should be put down, but anybody who continues to support the breeding of spider morphs is irresponsible.
