Hi everyone! My birds are my life, and I recently got a new addition yo the little family, a baby cockatiel, he's currently 9 weeks old, and I'm struggling to wean him, he's refusing to eat anything besides millet, and even then hardly eats it unless I pretend to, even with the other flock members to teach him and I still handfeed him twice a day, only 2 days ago, I finally got him to drink water out of his own. does anyone have tips that actually work for a baby tiel that's struggling to wean? Oh and he also makes a huge fuss when he's in his cage, him and his bothers and sister (a conure, macaw and a budgie, odd mixture), always free roam in my house, but he's been making a fuss of his cage ever since I fisrt moved him, is there any way to make him feel more at ease without distressing him too much?
