Okay, posting this for my cousin, since they were asking and i didnt know.
They really want a pet but have a few restrictions:
A: They switch houses every couple days
B: their parents will NOT care for it while they are away
C: it needs to be on the cheaper side, because they have to pay themselves
D: It needs to be something they can hold.
E: It has to live in a cage/terrarium
F: it can't be loud
Note: they live in colorado
Are there any pets that would fit this?

^^ Pacman was my first thought though transport in cold/hot weather might be a problem. There's also invertebrates which are very easy to care for and very portable. Hissing Cockroachs, Stick Insects, and even Pillbugs can be surprisingly fun to keep
