Animals that didnt belong to you?

Hey has anyone here ever had a favorite animial that doesnt belong to you, but you love it and see it often?
For en example: I ride at a fancy breeding stable, and they sometimes use rivetly owned horses as lesson ponies. Well, the owner of the farm had a pony named Honey. Now, honey was mean. She always bt people for no reason, and cow kicked. But, she always liked me for some odd reason, and I loved her. I was planning on leasing her for 6 mounths.
So, one night, I hve my lesson, and my and my BFF, go to a smaller barn on the farm. Honey llives there, but when her stall was empty, I thought nothing of it, She's Probably just in the feild. I though. So, I pet the other horses, and we went to the main barn, to have a 4-H meeting. And a girl(Whom know I loved Honey) came up to me and said "Honey was sold." My eyes wided and my face turned goastly white. I sat down speechles, and my BFF asked what was wrong. I blankly replied," They sold Honey." She was very supportive, because the samething happened to her recently. The whole meeting I was almost compleatly silent.
When We were able to leave, the tears came. I ran out of the brn, crying my eyes out, and into my dads truck.
Im still very upsett about her leaving, and the worse part is she is very far away from me.

So, anyone else have stories like this?
