Trick Training Challenge! Week TWO and BONUS POSTED

Welcome to the Trick Training Challenge!
Every week there will be two tricks posted to train, one will be a beginner trick and one will be more advanced. You can choose to do one or both tricks. At the end of the week just post a video or picture of your pet performing the trick. Seems simple enough right! We do have a few rules!

I'm interested. I'm always wanting to try new things with my dog Pete, he's high energy and he LOVES to think!

What if your dog already knows the trick?
Pete knows:
sit, wave, down, crawl, dance, stay, circle clockwise- counter clockwise, fetch, back, sit to the front, sit to the right, sit to the left, he knows how to jump, go through hoops and tunnels, heel to either side.. I'm realy running out of tricks to teach him! lol.
Unfortinetly, I cannot and will never be able to get him to roll over, he just hates it..

I was thinking about that, and I was thinking of having one beginner and one intermediate and advanced trick every week. That way people just starting out can participate as well as people who's dogs already know some of the easier stuff!

As for Pete there's still stuff like say your prayers, pick up your toys, bang your dead, etc.

Ah, yay. Great thread. I recently got a puppy just after christmas, he is around 8 weeks old. Im planning on training him in agility but I would LOVE to teach him some tricks to.

Ohh....I will :) I used to train my dog all the time but he has ran out of tricks but I can train my other really annoying dog :) She will be a challenge for me as she is a pain lol

Oooh, I would love to do this! My puppy (erm, he's actually an adult, but he looks like a puppy) is almost 20 months old so I bet I can still teach him some things. It would be a nice challenge.
