Gonna pop in and try to help with your list from a UK perspective. Burns is one of the better brands you can get over here - it's a smidgen low on the meat content, but it's quality and I've not heard anything bad about it in practice. James Wellbeloved and Arden Grange are also good compared to the rest of the market, although they both use a fair bit of beet pulp so YMMV. Bakers is terrible, mostly sugar and artifical colourings - most things in the supermarket are full of questionable meat, filler and chemicals, but Bakers sticks out in my memory for having major problems with hyperactivity and weight gain. Wagg, Dr John's and Winalot are equally full of idek why you're feeding this to anything - Dr John's had BHT/BHA in it as I recall but I can't find the ingredient list to confirm.
Good food isn't nearly as expensive as it seems when you realise you're giving much bigger portions of cheap food to fill your dog up. Also less poop. Seems to be the best argument to use against people who don't want to spend money to keep their pet healthy.
