If you look at the Original Red Riding Hood it was a warning to young girls on the dangers of older men a lot of the Fairy Tails we grew up with have darker and more twisted stories in the beginning, you wouldn't allow your children to read the Original ones these new ones have been tamed alot compared to how they use to be.

Yep none of the "Fairy Tail" are actually meant for children as lot in there Original format are pretty gruesome and deal in adult topics so I take anything like these with a pinch of salt.

I agree with the hate on hunting of them, I mean, there just doing it to survive it's not like there hunting for things that we are. Wolves are one of my favorite animals and I will always love them.

Well no, we don't need to hunt them because they're competition, we need to hunt them to keep their number in check. The kind most people hunt aren't super endangered or nearly extinct or going to die if one doesn't return to the pack at the end of the day,
I hate hunting, but not just that of a certain branch of the animal kingdom, and I understand why it's done.

I personally love wolves. They're beautiful and their way of living is amazing. I have a hatred towards us hunting them, not because of the actual killing, but the fact that we honestly hardly even have to try to do so. Wolves live their life in the wild, it's survive or die out there. The ecosystem itself should be the one keeping them in check, not us. And here we are with our super powerful, overpowered weapons that can kill basically anything that we want them to, from a distance and making it exceedingly easy to keep us from harm. We hardly have to try anymore- if we did it like actual wild animals did, by hunting them down and then going on the attack with closer range weapons, I wouldn't have a qualm with it. It makes it fair.

what do you guys feel/think about how media portraits wolves? EX stories such as red riding hood, three little pigs etc or movies like alpha and omega etc. Do you think its all lies? or some is true and some are false?


EDIT: as for what i think, wolves are wild animals and should be kept that way so certain things are true.

slowly they are turning into, as how some people, view the dolphin in the way "New Age spirtuality/religion" is viewed. "wolves are just angels that learned how to howl"

would it be better to make a "little slighty disabled child is lost in woods, befriended by lone wolf, wolf helps child"(because really. if I learn how to write for film, I will write that story and demand a CG wolf due to 10 reasons)

wolves won't do that, but they aren't creepy murdering stalkers who don't give up either
