My Neighbors have 3 kids all young, 3yr 6yrs and 5months and The Puppies don't Nip or jump at them. They can get exitable when they come around, But thats a puppy for you, But once they speak there names the Pups calm down.
They have had no Troubles with them, As they already know some basic commands and are potty trained and When they came inside, They lay there on the blankets not trying to climb or be all over anyone if there sitting down with them. Even if someone gets up and walks away they dont follow but lay there.

Puppies can Leave Between 6-8 weeks. Doesn't have to be 8 weeks.

...actually, they do have to be at least 8 weeks.
At six and seven weeks old, the pups learn critical lessons from their mother, and no matter how many 'puppy playdates' you do, it will not be enough. So yes, the puppies do have to stay with their mom until eight weeks. Just because they're healthy doesn't mean they can leave before their socialization period is over for that age.
