He also might prefer having a separate box to poop/pee in, want a clean box to poop in.. etc. I also wouldn't rule out medical issues and getting a check up would be good anyways - the stress of being in a new place can cause old issues to resurface, that the shelter didn't know of.
Also, dinner in bed is always fun.

Frisk's kibble meals are fed via Kong.

yes they do act like a dog some times. They love treats and attention but they aren't really lap cats only when they feel like being loved on do they let me pet them but they do very well on leash love learning tricks and are very playful they love playing with the dogs when I let the dog indoors or let the cats out on leash. They go on hikes with a dog often.
Ruby loves her crate she knows she usually goes out when she's in it.
