Aww... Every kitten is something new. We thought that Joker, one of our kittens ( not much really anymore) would always be an outdoor kitty, but he mellowed out and stays indoors most of the time. Midna, is this complete opposite, tho. Midna is also blind, so at first we had trouble with her getting underfoot because she couldn't see.

Our cats tend to be outdoors for most of the time, but the old kitties come indoors at night, whilst Arty comes and goes as he pleases. But he'll always come back into the house if you shake a packet of Dreamies! Arty likes our tortoise. I have so many photos of them playing together, it's adorable. The cats are actually really good with our fluffy rodents (our guinea pigs and hamsters). They never attempt to hurt them at all. Can't say much about our outdoor fish, though. That was the local Heron and the Garbage Bin Cat XD

So, the story of the Garbage Bin Cat. Basically, this big black and white cat terrorizes everything. When it's bin day (for the bin men to collect the rubbish) he comes along and rips open the bags. He's like a cat version of a vulture. And, not only that, but he's called some sort of agreement with the local seagulls as well. When he sets out to rip open bags, the seagulls hover above him and wait for him to rip open the bags and leave, before the seagulls swoop down. Makes my parents so angry. He's a thug of a cat, as well. Scars, evil eyes, everything. I get the shivers around him.. luckily no bad encounters with any of my cats, though!

Hi Guys! I wanted to share a quick recipe that I use for my cat. Its homemade wet food, and you know your cat will probably like it, because its made out of your cat's favourite dry food!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
INGREDIENTS:
-A cup
-Dry food (for cats)
-Water
-Spoon
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
STEPS:
1. Pour the dry food into the cup.
2. Add water.
3. Mix the 2 ingredients with the spoon.
4. Let the 2 ingredients sit until the food absorbs the water (make sure it absorbs ALL of the water!)
5. Mush up the food after it absorbs all the water.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
WARNING: The formula will dry up and smell funny in at least 3 days.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I'm not sure if this formula would work for your cat, but my cat loves it <3!

peace up, a town. cue the music!

Whoops, sorry :cry:

I posted this first on page 893, I'm just wondering, can we post the same thing every page? Or is there a limit, like repost every (7, 8, etc) pages?

Hey, guys, look what I got today.

His name is Neo and he's about two years old, give or take, and he's pretty much the sweetest cat I've ever met. I thought he'd feel insecure or nervous when I brought him home and figured he'd hide under the bed or couch or something, but so far, he hasn't really. So far he's been exploring the house. He loves his new food, and, apparently, he likes bread and hazelnut "cheese" as evidenced by today and my only complaint is that he poops right outside of the litter box. Could that be something medical, or is he just being a silly boy? He was given a clean bill of health at the shelter. He WAS mostly an outdoor cat in his previous home, could that be the problem?

Personally I would avoid reposting at all unless someone asks you for it.. helps keep spam down, yeah?

Also an FYI, moistened dry food is heaven for bacteria. If you're gonna wet it down, it needs to be eaten within 30-40 minutes and tossed otherwise to avoid feeding your cats bacteria soup.

Edit @ ranch dressing: is he pooping outside the litterbox as in hanging his butt out? Or just poppin a squat right next to it? He might prefer a different litter or a larger box.

It could be that he doesn't like the litter you're using, or that he needs a bigger litter box like plum said!

Okay! I'll try a bigger box.
I also tried some treats with him to see what he would like for later purposes. So far he's liked:
Nutritional yeast extract spread
Peanut butter

What else would you guys suggest as a treat?
