Well, Skely is still alive. He is about 4 inches long still. I currently have him in a 30 gallon tank with some guppies. I know he shouldn't have a heater, but my house stays warm enough that the heaters hardly ever come on. My mom wants him to get bigger before we put him in the pond, but I say that we need to get him out as soon as possible. I'm going to be adopting another koi to go in with him when he goes out. The fish I currently have in the pond range from a 7 inch goldfish to a 1 1/2 foot koi. Do you think I should wait to let him grow more, or do you think he should get put into the pond. I'm afraid f we wait to long, he will either get stunted or the pond is gonna freeze over.

Hey guys, I have a question.
Do platies normally grow to over 3 inches long?
Because I just measured Knight, my lone Platy (the rest of her school died and my mom won't let me get any more), who lives in the 20 Gallon with my female Bettas and she's huge.
She's an orange Mickey Mouse platy and I thought she was pregnant for like 3 months but then realized that a) she had been that rotund when I got her over a year a go, and still hadn't given birth, and b) Platies give birth after only one month and the last male died a few months ago.
It's concerning me a bit because what if it's a tumor?

My poor fish. XD I went and started re-organizing the tank yesterday, by moving the tree from the middle to the left corner. And ripping out half of the plants... I did re-plant them temproary, but today while changing water I took out rest of them. Only leaving swords, tiger lily and couple hygrophilas in place. So now my tank is kinda half deserted looking, with only the few plants, huge tree and one lava rock. >_< It seems the corries actually like it and are not so skittish for some reason, where as the tetras are not so impressed. : P I also noticed how much plants I actually have, as in how do I now fit all these...
Corries were bit silly today. First of all 2 males had a fight under the tree, while other 4 were happily eating. Then the winner chased of the looser and swam up to some small hole on the underside of the tree. o_o Like he was a sucker fish or something, as his nose was ponting up at one point and then for while I couldn't see him at all. Slightly worrying would he be able to get out on his own, but some minutes later I could count all 6 on the sand.
Can we pretend that the airplanes in the night sky are like shooting stars?
I could really use a wish right now, wish right now, wish right now...

So I adopted two female bettas at one point from the same store. They were in a tank together with a few other girls. I put the girls, Annabelle and Tiffany (Yes, after Annabelle from 'The Conjuring', and Tiffany, Chucky's wife from 'Child's Play'.) in the 30 gallon with some of my female guppies. After the girls started getting aggressive, I was forced to take them out and put them in different tanks. When they were in together, they stayed together, and Annabelle only flared at Tiffany a little. She only nipped at Tiffany once, but they were fine with each other after that. My question is, can I put Annabelle and Tiffany in a 10 gallon with each other, or would it be more wise to get them each a 5 gallon tank? Thank you in advance, .:TrueToHens:.

To keep females together you generally need at least 5, so I'd suggest keeping them separate.

That's not always true. I've kept my 2 female bettas in a 10 gallon for 3 years now. They won't let any other females join in. They've killed 3 others.

I did say generally ^^ There are always acceptions; especially with bettas I find. They have more personality then most other fish I've seen.
