Zane, Lucy, you know I love you, but snatching a tuft off a squirrel's tail is a great way to get yourself bit. Idiots. AND since you derps haven't had a rabies booster last month y'all are goin to the vet tomorrow. At least tHoneybee was smart enough to just watch :U

And guys, remember it's the middle of winter and even though I don't agree with some things, not everyone can get to vets ASAP during harsh winters

my litter but i am not able to drive fully without an experienced 5 year diver for another year*stupid driving terms* so technically he has rule over them that way. although i also agree with the fact that its much to dangerous to go out right now.

Are you the one titling and health testing the dogs?

6 puppies in one night is pretty absurd. I wouldn't breed any of these puppies and neuter the mother.

This guy is torturing me. I really can't wait for him to grow up though, I think he'll be a meathead and his head reminds me of his fathers. His dad is gorgeous<3

Health testing is done through the OFA or Pennhip.

I wouldn't breed the mother again either. :)

Titling is so much fun! I wish I could get into sports but do not have a stable enough dog right now. ^^; What health testing will be done/are you doing.. I don't really know whats standard for GSD.

My friend bred her husky and she had a litter of 6, out of all those 2 got too weak and died.
Pipers litter was a first time mother with a litter of 11.

Hips/Elbows are definite, maybe some kind of heart issues (not sure), eyes are usual with most breeds, and myelopathy perhaps? I see it mostly in Sheps
And that's just off the top of my head

General Hip and elbow dysplasia which is really common among GSD, Progressive retinal atrophy... an eye disease resulting in slow loss of eyesight, Cancer, epilepsy and inflammatory bowel disease. are the main few i may end up getting a few more done depending on what the vet suggests

Hip/elbows are definitely the main ones. There are a couple optional ones, listed above. If you're not going to title your dogs, you should at minimum do the optional tests too.

You cannot test for Cancer, IBD, or Epilepsy to the best of my knowledge. Besides after the dog already has it.
