Hawk and Widow are getting to try some new things in their next batch! Turkey and salmon are two things they have never had before, so I'm pretty excited to have some for them! Also bought a huge thing of chicken hearts, which they seriously love lol.

Awh, what lucky kitties! Delta really enjoys pork (we make sure it's prepared well so it's not harmful to her) and we sometimes use it as treats.

My boyfriend and I decided we'd like to have another cat.
One of our cats died from Feline Leukemia at the end of July. Her name was named Elizabeth and she was so pretty and sweet. My parents found her and took her in and fed her. For a while I was trying to convince my mom to keep her, but she told me they were going to take her to the shelter, so I took her. We had her for about four months and less than a month after her illness was diagnosed, she died and we were heartbroken.
It's been almost six months now since her death, and we've just decided we want to get a kitten. We talked it over and realized we've never tried to get a cat before. My boyfriend's mom had a lot of cats that weren't neutered and took in strays, so he's just always had cats. My cat showed up at my house and was sickly and I kept him; so similar to getting Elizabeth.
I haven't had a kitten younger than six months since about seven years ago, so I'm really excited. No shelters have any kittens and my local shelter doesn't really have space for cats anyway so they always have a lot of foster homes lined up. Cats just sortof live wild around here except for the few people who keep their cats inside like family and take them to the vet.
ANYWAY; I found an ad in the local newspaper type classifieds offering "barn-raised kittens," and I'm supposed to call at 11:30 (in 45 minutes) to ask about them. I hope they're cheap or free and I hope they have young ones. I found an ad yesterday but the kittens were already six months, and I'd love to experience a baby cat again.

- Elizabeth. I used to call her "Pretty-beth" because she was so lovely.

@Trico;
Jeez. That's like my cat. She is currently head-up-sleeping.
@KeiOfTheWolves
How'd it go? Did you call?
Update on our new cat
We did not get it yet, but texted yet another person about a beautiful 7-month-old kitten.

Cute, right?
