You may want to consider rehoming some of your fish.
My Danios and sharks are doing great actually, one danio got sick 2 weeks ago but I separated, medicated and fed him peas and he's perfect again. It's not that overstocked, the tetras and sharks stick to the bottom, the danios and guppies play at the top. My bettas sit in the plants. My filter is built on to the back of the tank, it's very strong and has charcoal, marble chips, bacteria balls and what not all built in.. and I do 10% changes every week with treated water. There's always exceptions when people put a lot of effort in. This tank has been running since November without a hitch..
Don't rainbow sharks get to 6 inches long and semi-aggressive as adults? We thought they needed something like 50 gallons? Or an absolute minimum of 29 gallons.
They might be ok now but they won't be for much longer.
You cannot eat love, nor buy a horse with it, nor warm your halls on a cold night

They're only babies (2inch), I have a bigger tank they will be moved to as adults ^^

Help needed: Common causes for blue algae?
I recently spotted little bit of it again in my tank, again... -__-
Can we pretend that the airplanes in the night sky are like shooting stars?
I could really use a wish right now, wish right now, wish right now...

So I was scrolling through petsmarts website and found
this. My 7 year old sister would absolutely love this. Ever since I got fish, she loves them and has been dying for her own. Of course I wouldn't put any fish in it but was wondering if I could put some shrimp in it? Maybe a nerite snail or two also? How many shrimp could I put in this? And is there any plants anyone would recommend?

You could put a couple ghost shrimp in there. I'd say 3-4 maybe. And i always reccommened java moss and x mas moss to people because I like them!

Anyone here know about Axolotls? I was thinking of getting on for my 10 gallon. Here are my questions:
How big of a tank do they need? Would a 10 gallon work?
What things do they need in their tank?
What is their diet?
What kind of gravel?
Do they do best alone or with tankmates? If tankmates, what kind?
Heated or chilled water?
Anything else I need to know?

It's hard letting a perfectly good 5 gallon sit around empty.
Meet the newbie. I saw him a few weeks ago when he came in at PetSmart with badly nipped fins. He was still there today, so I bought him. Hope fully his fins will grow back eventually because he's such a looker. <3
Haven't decided on a name yet, but I've got a few in mind.
Bad quality pics cause he's very frightened at this point and I don't want to stress him out too bad.
