I couldn't bear to leave my cat. She's my baby. :(

As for the pleco, plastic storage totes work well for temporary tanks, and they're cheap. ^^ several users on the forum have recommended them as temp tank options.

It's quite alright! I don't mind sharing.
I keep telling my cat I'm going to miss her, I think i'm going to miss her the most. I've had her for ten years and she's my little baby too, but shes not my cat, so technically if I took her that would be stealing. Also she's never had any of her shots, and in her age would be much too stressful. So I've got to leave her here.

And thank you! I never thought of that, but that's a wonderful idea! I'll write that down. You guys have been very helpful and I appreciate it greatly. :)

Hello, haven't posted lately.... :?

Anyways, I want to know if my betta is sick, or if he is just getting old.

When I first got him, I guessed his age to be around 1 1/2 to 2 years old. I have had him for 7 months, so far.

Recently, I have noticed his colors getting dull, him resting more than usual, and what appears to be some vision loss. I have kept up on tank cleaning and feeding and all of the sort. Im guessing he is simply older in age, but I ant to know what you guys think.

Also my other betta, Cobalt, had fin rot when I first got him. I used medicine, but his tail han't gotten any better. IIt hasnt gotten worse either. Do you know what is happening, and what I can do to help him?

Thanks!
I'll fix this later.

If you're going through a tough time, I want you to know that you can always PM me. Even if you just want to rant to me, I'm here.

Your first betta is not old; bettas live 3-4 years with good care. Some pictures would be very helpful to diagnose what's wrong.
And for the other betta, just keep treating him. Fin rot can be nasty, but if you stop treating it will most likely get worse.

How many tanks do you have: Just my one
Type of fish that you have: I have a betta and an aquatic frog c:
Your fish's names: My betta is Arthur and my frog is Snippet
How long have you had fish: Arthur I've had since March 1st and I've had Snippet since March 28th
Also if you have pictures of you fish we would love to put a link to them next to your name! If you have a tank with a lot of fish you are welcome to just put a picture of your tank. Please do not post the pictures on the actual forum since they do take up space; just the link will do!

Okay people. I need help.

One of my anubias plants started to bud a few days ago. All was doing well.
Now, I noticed today that it has that gross, white stringy stuff that grows on the peas I don't take out of the tank growing off of it. >.>
Obviously I need to take it out, but how do I go about that? Google is not providing me with any helpful answers.

Is it fungus?
I don't quite understand
Do you have a photo?
If it's just on one part if the plant could you cut it off?

It looks like a fungus or mold and it's just on the flower bud. >.>
I'll try to get a picture.

edit:

Yes I do have an algae problem. No, that's not what the fuzzy stuff on the bud is. xD

Ahhhh yes I know what you mean now
It's because the flower is under the water
Sometimes driftwood does that too when it's put in the tank for the first time
It's not bad but I would probably cut it off before it starts rotting
Or you could move the plant higher so the bud is out of the water?
