Hey everyone, I hope your hedgies are doing good!

Sadly I had to put Jack to sleep today. He couldn't move all that great, he wasn't eating/drinking/peeing/pooping very much, and he was so limp (like a ragdoll limp). The vet was very nice and she gave me a box to bury him in and a little clay circle with his paw prints. <3

I really was hoping he was just having a couple bad days and maybe he had an infection, but it wasn't really worth it to do a bunch of tests on him. He fought the ketamine shot a little, but it was for the best. We'd only been to this vet three times and she felt bad for saying he needed to be put to sleep; she said most vets might've said to put him down when he was barely having any problems walking (he was still eating and using the bathroom normally), but she wanted to give him a chance.

Little Thea surpassed 50 followers on instagram recently. Now she's up to 61!
It's been very up and down and spam accounts come and go, but I'm real excited that I'm managing to actually keep up with an account xD

She's been doing great too. Her weight is holding steady between 340 and 350, she's wheeling every night, and she loves her live mealies. I'm transitioning her off of a food that contains barley, since I'm a celiac and I don't want any accidental glutening, and working on getting her mix to half and half of the two other grain-free foods she's currently eating.
Then, I'm going to start mixing in a small portion of a third food just to have three in the mix. ^^

I just got back from a weeklong cruise, and as i can't board rups i had a friend whatchig him. (Which is even nicer considering i also have 2 guinea pigs that need to be taken care of and rupert needs special care so she came to my house at least 2 times a day) He did well while i was gone and is very excited to see me :3

Every site seems to say something different, and I could hardly find anything to do with pets on my province's website. Any idea where to find out if they are legal? I know this is a long shot, but I really don't know. XD
