I hope this doesn't count as medical advice. I don't think it does.
A few weeks ago my cousin found a stray Siamese cat, she named her Nala. She stays outside because if she was inside my cousins dogs would probably attack her. She feeds her, gives her water, and made her a little house thing to sleep in. She's had her for about 3 weeks. We think Nala is pregnant because she doesn't like it if you touch her belly, she always wants something to eat, she's kind of fat, if you feel her belly it almost feels like there's little bodies in their, and there's all kinds of other cats in the neighborhood that could have gotten her pregnant. Well about a week ago my cousin said that she couldn't find her. Do you think she ran away or just went away to have her kittens? I doubt anyone in the neighborhood took her because its a small neighborhood and no one there would take her.

Also I'm a past cat owner. I used to have all kinds of cats.

Just because a cat doesn't let you touch her belly doesn't necessarily mean she's pregnant. I actually can't touch my male cat's tummy without risking getting bit. He HATES anyone touching him there. The belly is a very vulnerable and sensitive spot for cats.

No one in the neighborhood already owns her, its a small neighborhood and my cousin knows just about everyone in it. I doubt the pound took her, my cousin doesn't live that close to the pound. I doubt that she would run away though because she relies on my cousin for food and shelter. Also I still think Nala might be pregnant because of her eating habits and the way her stomach feels and that she suddenly disappeared. But that just may be a coincidence and I haven't been over to my cousins in about a week now so Nala might already be back. Thank you both anyway. Also its kind of funny if you touch her belly because if she's lying on her back when you do it she'll grab your hand with all four paws and start swatting and clawing at it until you move your it back again.

I hate when stores sell dogs or cats in general. If it's being supplied by a pet store, you can bet it's from a puppy mill. Decent breeders don't let just anyone waltz in and buy their animals; they require people to tell them about themselves and their homes and provide pictures or a tour to ensure that the animal is actually getting a good home. Also, real bengals are quite expensive, so unless they were very pricey (and probably even if they were), they're not going to be bengals. In addition, if a cat doesn't come with papers, it's a moggie, a mutt-cat, no matter what the people selling it claim.
She/her, irregular hours but I'll try to get back to you as fast as I can

Not to mention, Bengals are hybrids and illegal in some areas as a result :O They are very different from your average run of the mill moggie (as are all purebred cats) and it bothers me when I see EVERY spotted moggie labeled a "Bengal mix" or "Savannah mix". Uh, no, I'm pretty sure that alley cat isn't part Asian Leopard or Serval, thanks. It's about as ludicris as calling every sable dog a wolf hybrid (which some people do, which is annoying, as well as black, white, and piebald dogs).

Here's a good question for the thread. I hear a lot of judgement against wolf hybrids on CS... what do you guys feel about the wildcat hybrid breeds? Bengals, Savannahs, Toygers, Cheetohs, Serengetti, etc.

I absolutely HATE it when someone calls a husky or husky mix a wolf or wolf mix. People, learn what the hell a wolf looks like! I honestly don't think siberian huskies or malamutes look ANYTHING like wolves.

As far as hybrids go, I'm largely against them. I think most domestic animals are too far removed from their wild ancestors to make hybrids ethical. Even if domestic cats are closer then most other domestic animals, the fact is we've bred them to be social and to retain kitten-like behaviors. Most cats, not including ferals that weren't socialized with people, want and need to be around people. Nearly all wild cats, including the small ones, are solitary. So, by combining the two, you get a cat that could very well have a mix of both wild instincts and domestic instincts. Also, a low generation hybrid (like a F1) is just as dangerous and demanding as it's wild parent. To be fair, I largely don't agree with keeping exotics like tigers and wolves as 'pets'.
