I am against any hunting not needed for survival (not overpopulation hunting) not just wolf hunting. If there was a large animal who ate wolves I'd be fine with it. It would be killing wolves to survive. And when you say wolves aren't endangered look at the title where it says Protect All Wolves not Protect Gray Wolves.
"You shout it out,
But I can't hear a word you say
I'm talking loud not saying much
I'm criticized but all your bullets ricochet
You shoot me down, but I get up
I'm bulletproof, nothing to lose
Fire away, fire away
Ricochet, you take your aim
Fire away, fire away
You shoot me down but I won't fall
I am titanium"

Yes, I know. Grey wolves that aren't endangered included in 'all'. ^^
I support protecting endangered species such as red wolves, but not 'all'.
And I see.
But also, not all wolves do it for survival...a lot of preditors surplus kill. But, I see what you mean.

wolves eat what they need and leave the rest to scavengers.

Yes, but not always do scavengers get to it, and eat it all.
Plus, humans do the same. They kill an animal for food [food is esential for survival, not all people choose to buy store food], leave what they cant take in the wilderness [scavengers can get to it], and eat/keep/sell [money is essential for survival as well] the rest.
And, if wolves leave the extras for scavengers, that's technically not for their survival, and they probably have no intention of feeding scavengers.

Yes, but I don't get what that has to do with everyone not hunting wolves.
wolves aren't even endangered, so there is no law to be broken in many areas.
And this is just an interesting question I'd like to ask you that I'm going to steal from someone. xD It was quite an interesting question, and it'd be great if someone who 'opposes' wolf hunting could answer. ^-^ ;;
If there was an animal (other than humans) that was larger, and wolves were their natural prey since this animal had a large apetite... Would you want to kill the animal that ate the wolves?
I mainly only see people that hate wolf hunting. No other animals, just wolves.. I mean, I like wolves, but I dont get why they need to be 'saved' so much if they arent endangered.
I wouldn't be against it considering it's part of a chain, but if either animal's population level got to low I would want measures to be taken.

I agree with your point of veiw ^-^

Not really, if that was natural. I just don't like it when humans interfere with what's natural, that's part of the reason I oppose hunting.
Anyway... I have a question that I feel stupid to be asking, but... Does anyone know whether red wolves (and not ones that are part coyote) live alone or in packs? I've just been wondering...

But humans are a part of nature, too.
We are animals, mammals, humans are mammals.
We ARE a part of nature, so if wolves hunting [they kill deer] is ok because it's natural, then humans wolf hunting is ok.
And I don't know… xD good question. Alone, I think...? Not sure.

(Darn, why do you have to be smart?

)
Hmm. I might look it up sometime, but not now. My mom thinks I'm trying to work on homework on the computer. (Which I am, but...

That's not true at all. Only about 1/5 of hunter kill to provide for their family, the rest is for sport. Humans font do the same thing, as they mount their catch on walls and waste good meat. That's not the sane. Wolves do it for survival, we do it for fun.
