I've learned what beautiful world we live in. And not even notice. And in fact, I've learned more from my animals than from whatever else in the world. They learned me to live in this beautiful world and forget any problems in the imaginary world.

~ More beautiful touching stories ~

I love it that there are more people out there who care about animals, and not just think they are dumb animals. I know alot of people who love animals, and a few that don't. I love the people who do care. I especially love the story about your rat, ●Mousey●. It was very touching ~

Well, it is kind of wierd, but anyways:

Never rub scent of ham on your hams, and start to pet your kitties. They tryed to eat my hand and then they started to lick each other and itself like a maniac. Now i will just keep the ham on myself...

Cats have allways cheered me up. When i sad, Mion just comes at me and purrs cheerfully. It makes me allways more happy.

When my mother was pregnant with me. (This was in May 1998, and I was born October 1998) my parents got a Pitbull puppy from a friend of my dad's. Little did they know they were not only getting a dog, they were getting my sister and best friend.

They named the dog Ki-Rin after the mythical creature. We called her Rin for short, or Rin-Rin.
She was a gorgeous black Pittie with a white chest, a white half-ring around the bottom of her neck, and white paws with black spots on her paws and neck ring.

I'll skip details about her life, mainly what I'm getting to is the end of her years anyways. But while we're on the subject of her earlier times, I'll say some about it.
She was the best dog ever (Or at least in my world). She was smart, brave, pretty, and even funny. She knew multiple commands like "Straight to the creek" for 'lie down' though she knew the regular term as well. She was one of those dogs that didn't care if her owner was being attacked by a bear that could easily rip her leg off and beat her with it, she would put herself between the wild animal and her loved one. (Though she never had any encounters with bears that I remember) For the sake of time I'll go ahead ans skip to my point; I could go on though.

So what I'm getting to is the day Rin died. She was 10 years old; she was at that point where her muzzle was gray, she slept alot, and she didn't like to run or jump much with her old bones and such. She had become old, tired, grumpy, and slightly aggressive towards other dogs because of this. She was just plain miserable. Also, she was starting to develop mysterious bumps around her body that we think may have possibly been tumors or cysts. We decided it was time to put her down. Of course I opposed to the thought completely, she was my best friend. But inside I knew that it was her time to go and keeping her on this Earth would just extend her discomfort.
We were standing outside the vet where it would happen, saying goodbye for the last time. We petted her, gave her treats, said comforting words, most things that owners do to make their pets' lats moments happy. What really got me was not how we were handling it, but how she was. She would just gaze up at us with a wagging tail and a sad but knowing look in her eyes. She knew that this was goodbye. She knew what was happening, that she was going to die. She didn't panic or freak out, though. She stayed calm and collected, with that peaceful, solemn look of acceptance. It was like she was saying "Please don't cry. I'll miss you, you'll miss me, but we'll always be together." It was that acceptance, that knowledge, that look that still haunts my thoughts today. Not in a totally bad way, though.

What I'm really trying to say though is that Ki-Rin taught me so many things. And maybe my story here will teach you a thing or two, as well. Rin taught me to love, live, laugh, and accept what life gives.
Thank you for reading, it actually took me alot of effort to write this because I'm practically reliving the day one of my sisters died.

I have three cats at home. When our third cat, Max, arrived he was only supposed to be at our place so we could look after him. The instant he stepped out of the cardboard carrier our other boy cat, Jack, ran over and the two boys walked off together. It was as if they had known each other for their entire lives.

Eventually, we knew that Max was going to have to go back to his owners. And we knew that when he went back, Jack would get in trouble again. Our oldest cat, a female tabby named Freda, hated Jack with a passion and he had no one to play with so he resorted to chewing electrical wires of all kinds to get attention. With Max to keep him company, he stopped (or at least slowed down).

But no one ever called for Maxi. So lucky Jack got to keep his friend. To this day they are like brothers. They will play, groom each other and sleep beside one another on my bed. Jack and Max have shown me how great animals can love one another and their humans.

This is so touching... I just want to cry now

My dog hasn't taught me a lesson yet, but I just had to write about her. Three-year-old Becky is 7/8 black lab and 1/8 blue heeler. She is literally scared of everything, but she still hates squirrels and birds and barks at them whenever she gets the chance.
I have the tendency to attract stray dogs... (of course, most of us do in some way XD) Becky was no exception. I saw her dozing in the driveway of the house across the street one day and thought, that dog's going to get run over. So I whistled for her, and here she came, cautious at first, but quickly crossing the street.
She almost followed a pair of dogs that passed by, but I held her back. Even after three weeks of trying to find her owners through the radio, newspaper, and everything else, she still stuck around.
It's been three and a half years, and I've still got my Becks. She's a best friend to me, and I hope she'll be around for a long time.

Merry Christmas!
I'm keeping Christ in Christmas. Are you?
As much as I love it here, CS is taking up a lot of my life. It is for this reason that I will be forever leaving during the 1st week of December. All pets will be going to my sister who will be getting her account shortly. Thank you all for a wonderful time; I have loved being here and I will miss it, but I will be saying good-bye to you all. Farewell, everyone!
Looking to give your rats a good home? Send them to me; they will be loved along with the rest of my hoard!

o Murphy o

Image

We got Murphy, my wonderful 8 year old cat when I was little.
See, he was a fun poof ball at first. To name him was the problem.
But I shouted out, "Murphy!" The name stuck.
He became the "Murph-meister" "Yayou" "Moiphy" and a lot of other cute nicknames for our kitten.
He was a 'replacement' for our cat Venus who got lost. It was hard at first. When I was little and didn't know much better, I would pull Venus's tail, and she be fine with me doing so. But, with Murphy...he would bite me, and scratch. Now, I know where you're going with this...that this isn't a story worth reading, but I think it will be. Anyways, Murphy wasn't happy. He loved us...but not being held or 'cuddling.' But, he would against our legs, that's about it. But you see, he was trapped as a feral cat. So, he was a bit unsteady. The people who caught him and his family wasn't able to get the mother, so they had to hand-feed him until he got older. Over the years, Murphy has been sweet, left *ahem* presents, at our door...and just been the best cat you can ever imagine. I used to get jealous of other cats because they would cuddle up with you...but Murphy, is my little warrior. He showed me how to be strong, and fight through all of my fears, not be all 'soft' and stick into the past. He taught me how to lead with a sword and leave with rewards. Even though Murphy is still alive, when he dies, he will always be my favorite little warrior cat. <3

♥ Princess ♥

I have four year old male shorthair tuxedo cat who I took in from the Humane Society when he was a kitten.
I atually have two stories about him...

♥ How I got Princess ♥

I was going to move and I had to get rid of my cat, Coal.
He was a huge fluffy black cat who I gave to my aunt, but he ran away.
A few years later I found out that the neighbor took him in, but this isn't about him.
Anyways, my mom said she'd get me a new cat. ( I was younger then )
We found two adorible fluffy female tortiseshell kittens at the Humane Society, they were twins.
We had to wait a few days to get them though, we got a phone call from the Humane Society a few days later.
They had both died of a sickness.

After a few weeks or so I went back to the Humane Society with my mom.
We looked everywhere, I saw TWO TWIN FEMALE TUXEDO CATS, what a coincidence, right?
My mom went to the back room where they kept the new kittens (where we found the tortiseshells.)
There were about 16 adorible, I mean ADORIBLE little brown maine coon kittens.
They were all putting their big fluffy paws up on the cage door practically begging for us to take them.
But my mom fell in love with the only kitten that was in the back of the cage hissing like a rabid animal.
His name was Teddy Bear, but mom named him Fluffy Teddy Bear, Fluffy for short.

So, anyway, the tuxedo kittens.
We walked back to them, and I was trying to figure out which one I wanted.
I finally decided on the other sister, an adorible black and white girl.
So, we brought the HS lady in and she said some lady already bought her.
And I started crying and crying and screaming, "But I want herr..!!"
And the lady happened to be there that bought the kit and she's like, "It's okay sweetie, I'll just take the other one."
And I stop crying and I'm like, "I'll just take the other one." and smiled, petting the ugly like scrawny sick cat that I didn't want.
A few days later we got him, I fell in love with that little ugly freak, the cats became BFFs, yatta yatta.

♥ Little Prince ♥

I came to pick up Princess from getting spayed,
the woman walked up to me and says,
"Princess.. is actually a Prince."
And I'm like, "Too late now, he already knows his name."
And he's been Princess ever sinse...

♥ Legless Love ♥

Just after we got Princess & Fluffy Teddy Bear we got a golden retriever puppy, Dixie.
They were all best friends, well, Princess and Dixie had a few.. troubles.
Like Dixie would chase him and she possibly broke his leg.
We also got two more cats a few years later for Christmas,
Holly & Storm, but that's another story, I might as well tell it realy quick..

The Little Cutie In The Front
It was near Christmas and we were at the Humane Society,
in the kitten cage up front their was the most adorible female fluffy calico puff ball you'd ever see.
Everybody that saw her, wanted her, but lucky us, we got her.
We could also get another cat, for free, so we got Storm.
She was a skinny, tall medium furred tabby cat with white paws, belly and mouth.

Anyways, back to Legless Love.
So, we also got two bearded dragons, Daisy & Dutchus.
( Dutchus sadly passed away. R.I.P. ♥ )
But they don't have to do with this story.
Chex does.
My mom started babysitting this pitbull, Chex.
Chex was a dog killing white and black pitbull.
She lived in a cage outside in the backyard.
One day, me and my friend were hanging out at my house.
I was putting on Dixie's harnest in the green room thing and my friend says,
"Chex is out!" So I put Dixie in the house and tell her to get my mom.
I run outside and practically jump on that dog, I grab her collar and pull her back.
She drags me up the stairs onto the porch and my mom comes out and puts her in the green room,
only thinking about getting her away from Dixie.
That dog walks over to the cats, and clamps onto Princess.
So, he's tearing him up, my mom's screaming, my friend's in shock, and I don't know what to do.
I was honestly about to jump on that dog and kill it.. but I didn't know if she'd bite me.
So then I just run away, and keep running.
My friend goes out to find me.

Meanwhile Chex is basically eating my cat.
Remember Fluffy?
Well he bolts into the room and jumps onto Chex's back and starts clawing her, then runs back out.
Well, after we managed to get Chex away and in the cage
and to get me back to the house, we have to drive an hour or more to the vet.
We have Princess in a clothes basket on a towel,
he's pretty much bleeding to death.
I sat by his side and petted him the whole time.
I didn't want to leave his side, and I didn't intill the vet took him.
He had to get his front left leg amputated,
but at least he's alive.
He's still my baby boy, and always will be.

But, sadly while he was away at the vet, something else happened that would change his life.
You remember Holly? From the little cutie in the front.
Well, she became the 'alpha cat' while he was away
and now everyone hates him

Poor Princess. ♥

♥ The Clan Now ♥

Princess:
Princess is now living in the outside room upstairs, it's a screened in room great for sunbathing and getting a taste of the outdoors.
He is going to live in my room in the winter and fall, he still remains at the bottom of the cat clan, he hasn't reclaimed his place as alpha. He has several scratches on hiss muzzle from numerous cat fights with Holly, the new clan leader\alpha. He has adjusted great to his new walk.. well, hop. He can run just as fast as any other cat. He has faught through braking a leg, dog mauling, getting very thin, and sicknesses. He is a very strong cat, a very lucky one too. He currently holds two nicknames, Motor because of his loud purr, and Legless, because he now has three legs. ♥

Fluffy:
Fluffy, Princess old best friend is now a scardy cat and a food lover, unlike his hissing kittenhood. His new best friend is Dixie, the golden retriever, now a huge dark coated 90 pound dog. They like to beg for table scraps and take naps together, that's why I call them, "Eaty Buddies." He now has a girlfriend, my Nana's extremely evil cat, Siggy and he has 3 nicknames, Fluffy, Fluff, and Eaty Buddy.

Holly:
Holly is the new clan leader or alpha, she has an adopted son or boyfriend thing, Jeffrey. She has three nicknames currently, Halls or Holls, (like the cough drops and short for Holly) and Evil, because she's Evil, and Evil 2.

Storm:
Storm has sadly run away for the second time and we cannot find her anywhere. :c

Jeffrey:
Jeffrey is our new adorible kitten, who is now a year old, his nickname is Jeff.

Caspar

Last year, my bro's girlfriend's cats had kittens, 6, I think. The girl was snapped up immediately, the boys a little slower. My older sister and her kids took the brown boy and named it Bobby Boots. ( He's gone missing, poor thing :( ) There was one left that no-one seemed to want. I managed to convince my parents to get the tiny, lastborn white kitten with black spots. We named him Caspar, Prince of Cats.

Almost a year later, tragedy struck. My mum had accidentally given Caspar dog's flea gel, which is poisonous to cats. I saved him, by spotting him jumping around abnormally outside. He began to have a fit, so my mum raced home from work and we took him to the vets. My brother, who is also older, with kids, but was living with us at the time, was freaking out. He was in there for three days and the vet was negative about his survival. But on the third day, I came home and my kitten was alive! In the house, thin and fur missing from his injections, but alive! I was so happy. He's made a quick recovery, my little miracle boy, he has. He might have brain damage, we'll never know, but I love him with all my heart.

That's Caspar's story.
Please, animal lovers, pray his brother will make a miraculous return, for my sister and her children's sake. Bobby has kittens out there, with their feral mother. Two, gorgeous little boys we can never keep. Please.
