What is so bad about wolves ?

RNA-based self-replication systems have been around much longer than wolves, cows, grass, or the cell itself. I'm not really going to pat HIV on the head and stop trying to find a cure for AIDS. I don't think that argument makes any sense, BrightScale.

Wolves are animals. Sometimes animals evolve. Sometimes they go extinct. The forces and pressures working on this vary. Yes, humans should be working to protect wolf populations, just as they should be working to protect other endangered populations.

Wolves aren't bad, wolves aren't super special magical creatures. They're just animals.

And honestly? There are animals that are a lot more fundamentally important than top-tier predators that are in a whole lot more trouble. If people resent wolves, it's because they capture all the good press. People would rather imagine the romantic, noble wolf than face the reality of the ugly lump of toad that's in much more dire straits (and a much more integral part of its ecosystem).

So... no need to glorify them, really.

And why change what Harpalyce said to something that's completely irrelevant? How are seagulls in the least bit relevant to wolves? Personally, If I could save a human or 10 grey wolves, i'd save the human. The human can do so much more than some fuzzy dog who's entire life is based upon "sleep, hunt, eat, fight, mate, puppies". Wolves have got to be the most overrated thing on the internet right now, if you don't love wolves with all your heart and if you support hunting, you are immediately considered a murderer, and deserve to die for supporting the hunting of the "OHMAYGAWDALMOSTEXTINCTANDCRITICALLYENDANGEREDWOOF".

I'm gone add my two pence here.

I'm one of those people who understand the diffrence between the magical wolf the wolfboos pray to and the mighty hunter so many of you FEAR.
I am also one of those people who say there souls are that of a wolf ,its called therianthropy people look it up or get your shotguns and pitchforks for me.

I respect what most of you are trying to say but wolves will also keep there own numbers down by killing rival packs and they will not reproduce when pray is so little.Most wolf attacks happen out of protecting themselves or curiosity they try new things with there teeth the human makes a sound it eather scares them of or gets a preditory responce simple as.

Livestock some farmers are using an old breed of dog breed to protect livestock from wolves that was near extinct till someone brought it back to its proper use.I'm not saying it works for everyone but at least there trying humane methodes and yes some still kill on sight.

The list that was made that shows all species and sub species those that say exstinct then date were killed by humans.
Its like here in the UK we have no natural preditors for the red fox so there rampart in Scotland there planing on reintroducing the wolf in to protected places I'm saying go for it.

Know the dogs not killing for no reason trying telling that to the toddler who was torn apart whilst she slept I have seen more dog attacks for nothing than wolf.
