Hi! I'm just gonna pop in here..
Anyone else have greyhounds? We've decided on being rescue greyhound owners from now on after we adopted our Karma from a shutdown racetrack. I've trained her a bit, but sitting hurts her because of her thighs, so we've had to work our way around that when learning. We focus on fun tricks, like jump, paw, spin, speak, and I even taught her boop! Does anyone know any other fun tricks they've taught their dog? We also have an old hound lady, Lucy. 13 and still playing fetch more often than 3 year old Karma. She doesn't do much anymore, but she likes to act all young. I think she thinks that she's a greyhound, too, with how fast she runs! She is going def and a little blind, and very arthritic, but you can't do much to stop it when it happens with age.
Karma being a goof:

Having a grey is strange. Our ten minute walks turn into half and hour because people are constantly asking about her, especially in the winter when she puts on her coat and socks, especially kids. We are lucky enough to have a small group of owners who we meet up with a few times every year, along with the big get together where people come from a bunch of different states and canada to catch up with everybody.
