Your heart is in the right place but im afraid you are missinformed. A hybrid is NOTHING like a pitbull or a shepherd or any other dog for that matter. It took humans THOUSANDS of years to create safe pets out of wolves... not a few generations. A wolf dog is MUCH MUCH more likely to be agressive towards humans. Have you ever seen what they act like in a pack when there is food around? do you want that in your kitchen? Not to mention that breeding them is extreamly unethical. Hybrids belong in the hands of a wildlife center... not at the end of a leash.
Humans are so greedy in the fact that if they like something they want one, they can't just leave it where it is.

Wolves = Strong hunting instinct, need lots of exercise, large space, social needs
If you cannot stand your 'precious puppy' chasing small animals and bringing their mutilated carcasses to you, do not get a wolfdog. If you can't walk it AT LEAST twice a day, do not get a wolfdog. If you don't have a large- and I mean LARGE- space for your pet to stay, do not get a wolfdog. If you can spend a lot of time doing nothing except playing with your dog or doubling the work and getting a second dog, do not get a wolfdog.
And that's barely scratching it. Wolfdogs are much more dangerous, much larger than your domestic dog. It doesn't matter if you 'want one so bad', if you can't take care of it, it's animal abuse. Now, do you really want this animal to suffer just because you want a pet that looks cool?
Basically, if you're willing to sacrifice a lot for this animal and you've done your research and you know EXACTLY what this animal needs and you have access to it, go ahead.
We're not being mean, we're just trying to help you. We want you to not get the wolfdog if you can't take care of it, not get a fine and have your animal taken away because you did something wrong. I, myself, want a wolfdog- they're beautiful animals. But I don't have the means to take care of it, so I'll probably settle for a small 'winter-dog', instead.
unoh. watch out, you may be kicked off for being mean!
