That could be it. I know Chaos only came to the dog park like once or twice every two weeks. And I think he stayed in a kennel while they worked.
The scary thing? His owner ended up getting a Doberman puppy. Last time I saw her, she was 8ish months and did not seem well trained. She also seemed people shy, and went after Chew once or twice. (Not bad, but it was unprovoked. I ended up moving not long after, so who knows how she turned out)

So, we ran out of osters and just grabbed some while we were at the pet store. They really really didn't have anything completely all natural, so I just grabbed Natures Miracle shampoo made for black dogs. I generally love their products and I don't think this is an exception. Just finished washing Lucky and her coat was 110% literally squeaky clean as I ran my hands through it... and no wet dog smell on my hands afterward. Can't wait until she's dry tomorrow to really see how it worked!
What is the difference for shampoo for black dogs? Does it just darken the coat like whitening shampoo whitens the coat?
Not really. It brings forth the natural dark shine while adding uv protection to help against sun fading/damage. =) I think some darken, but not the one I picked up.

Sounds like that could have been a problem. What I've noticed is the males are very dependent, while the females are more independent. I actually got Jacques because Remy had seperation anxiety - my fault because I had uni holidays when I got him and spent every waking moment with him, and then suddenly I wasn't there for six to eight hours a day. Étienne was a happy accident. I left Remy and Jacques for a few days at a kennel run by a Min Pin breeder while I visited my boyfriend up in the snow (usually my parents would of taken them, but they were in Poland visiting family) and he was four weeks old when I dropped them off. Instant love. Gah.
So for a sociable dependant dog like a male Min Pin, being left alone for the whole day and only getting stimulation twice every two weeks would have been hell. On top of that, having owners who didn't properly train him or put boundaries in place would definitely trigger the stubborn, 'small dog syndrome' lurking under the surface of every Min Pin.
I absolutely love what they say in the breed standard;
Fearless animation, complete self-possession, and spirited presence.
Which is a double edged sword, isn't it? Which is why you need to ensure your Min Pin knows who is boss, has enough socialisation with humans and animals of all types, is well trained and gets regularly exercised.
Oh that poor Doberman. I absolutely adore Dobermans but don't have the lifestyle to suit them (also my yard is extremely small). I just think they are magnificent. It is always sad when people get dogs without properly researching the breed.
For example, my boyfriend would love a Border Collie but I always tell him that will never happen because frankly he doesn't exercise enough. I tell him a retired Greyhound would suit him better

Magnificent derpfaces.
That is a gorgeous photo!
Actually my best friend had a black and tan Dobie when we were kids. He was so funny! He would eat tissues from the box. He also liked them better when they were used (yuck!). Also, he knew he wasn't allowed on the couch, but would nonchalantly stand in front of it...and then slowly, slowly back up to it...until his bum and back legs were on the couch and his front paws were still on the tiles.

"My dog is so bad on walks she pulls all the time"
"Well, have you tried anything to stop?"
"Yeah, we have a prong collar"
"... Those aren't very safe. They kind of hurt the dog, pinch the neck skin"
"*gets defensive* oh well I don't know what else would work cause we kind of tried EVERYTHING"
"Piper uses a gentle leader, it's really nice and it works. Have you tried that?"
"No, but I know it wouldn't work"
"How do you know if you've never tried it? It really does work well and it's stronger than it looks"
"Tala would just bite it off"
"If you put it on properly they can't do that. You really should give it a try."
"Well you know the prong collar is used by professionals"
"Yeah... 'Professionals'"
"*gives me a look* yeah! like CESAR MILLAN"
"Exactly. 'Professionals'"
Why don't people just give things a try, before saying they have tried everything? What if that did make a difference, what if that solved her problems? She would never know because she believes her way is right (even though her dog continues to pull so it's obviously not working)
Sigh.

Sigh.
I've actually not even seen Cesar use a prong collar. Ugh, I hate when people use them.
I saw a dog in PetSmart wearing one and it was some type of Lab mix, wasn't pulling, wasn't overexcited or aggressive to other dogs, wasn't jumping on people, and looked to be only like 40 lbs. there was absolutely NO REASON whatsoever for that dog to be wearing a prong collar x.x

I regularly invite Clemmy (boxer) to jump on me and she often does it in play without invitation as well. I love having a dog jump on me.Lolita was allowed to 'jump' on us as well in her younger years and she's allowed to paw at us to be asked to be picked up when she doesn't feel safe. (though I try to avoid putting her in those situations) But it's not like I wouldn't allow a larger breed (with the exclusion of the REALLY big breeds like Danes) to jump on me.

I meant when you first get home, or when they first meet someone. If they are invited, or they ask to be picked up, that is completely different.
A lot of people don't like having dogs jump on them - big or small. It's a precaution to teach them not to jump.
