I like Summer's idea about the different wolves in one mascot, but don't you think it would be too complex for a mascot.
I think that the mascot should be simple, and cute for anyone who reads this thread. Not too complex, if you know what I mean. o;

Ooh, you're working on making a mascot? I might be able to throw something in if I have time.

Edit: I may have an idea. What about a wolf with the body shape and fur length of an Ethiopian wolf, with the base color of a Vancouver Island wolf, and the markings of a Red Wolf, plus some grey wolf coloration somewhere in there? Maybe he could have a necklace with a big paw print jewel thingy that has the letters "P.A.W." Engraved in it? Just a suggestion, you don't need to do it. I'll be drawing it to give you guys a basic idea about how it looks like once I have an urge to draw.

I like the idea, but what about all the other beautiful wolf species that get left out?

Well, you can put only so many wolf species in a hybrid. I'm considering cutting out the grey wolf part and replacing it with an Iberian wolf or something... Meh, just a suggestion as I said.

I think that Summerflow's idea is great, but I was just thinking now that, all though everyone loves Ethiopian wolves, a lot of people have heard of them and red wolves has the same thing. So what if we used lesser known breeds of wolf? And Xantie might be right, with all of the different breeds it is a bit complex.
