Aww poor baby! If your neighbor's dog got in once, idk I'd bring him inside from now on. When you keep them outside they're wayyy less friendly and social! Bunnies can be potty trained and the smell isn't bad as long as you keep up with cleaning the litter box. My bunny has never peed outside of his box and he learned really quick!
As for keeping it from under the couch, it might be a safe space for him. Bunnies are crepuscular, so they're most active during the morning and evening -- they usually like to chill, sleep and hide in the afternoon. If you want to interact with him more, try playing with him during those times! Remember to always let him come to you tho, don't force yourself on him bc you could scare him more. If you don't want him going under the couch, you could always block it off! But if you wanna give him a safe place to chill, letting him go under there every now and the is probs a good thing.
hey thanks! thats helpful,, i cant let him live indoor thou as my parents actually sleep downstairs on the floor ha ha we dont have enough room ;') but anyway thanks for the rest of the advice

I just adopted this little guy about 3 weeks ago
the shelter I got him from said he's a holland lop mix, and said he was about 7-8 weeks old
he's such a friendly bun, and gets along great with my cat (who has lived with rabbits in the past)
here's a
very low quality picture of him and my cat together~

any tips for trimming claws?
I know how to do it just fine (I've trimmed adult rabbits, cats, and chickens), but I've never done it with a young rabbit who maybe had his claws trimmed once in his life. How would one go about keeping him still long enough to get one paw done?

The burrito trick is all I got. Take a towel and wrap em up snug and if they squirm too much then take a break and try again later. I've never had a rabbit squirm in a burrito though, even my dwarf who is a huge brat.
It definitely helps having someone else to hold them while you trim the claws or vice versa. That way they're not getting jostled around any more than necessary and the whole process is a lot quicker and easier.
mmk thank you
I'll be sure to try that ^^
