I have my fingers crossed for you!
My friend's border collie cross has been rushed to a specialist in Chester, but the vet isn't in until Tuesday. They did find a lump and we're all hoping it's not cancer but she's refusing to stand.

I just realised I need to do an update on this.
My friend lost Bess. There was nothing the vet could do and she was put to sleep this morning. I'm seeing my friend this Thursday so I'll try to keep her mind from it.

I'm so sorry for both of your losses.

Also just realized the pictures I posted had my watermark on them. Whoops! So here are the two originals before I edited them and added my watermark.

So its offical, I am moving back home to live with the parents for a while, so I can get back on my feet. It'll be weird moving back in with them but I know that Kenco and Busta my parents two dogs will absolutely love it. Every time I visit, I know they miss me and since busta was originally mine, I can't wait to get back out in the fields with him and to get him fit again.

Busta is the shepherd, Kenco is the cross breed.

A lot of good news and sad news in this thread past couple days. My thoughts with everyone.

Access training with Atlas, my german shepherd puppy who going through training to hopefully become a PSD is going really well.
We also went to a shooting range and he didn't so much as flinch at the noise after figuring out what it was and sat on the firing line watching the box we were shooting completely unphased, which I loved. Guess who my new range buddy is.

The worst thing is biting, though. Normally he is a super calm puppy; it is one of the first things that people comment on after asking if he is a black lab (screech). I know he is a puppy and puppies bite but he anger bites. I do the yipping and time out but that only works when he is playing. I have the toy I shove in his mouth every time he bites and it seems to be working but slowly. But when I get him out of his crate (he is crying to go outside and pee but won't stand up or walk out of his crate himself?) he starts crying and yelping and freaking out and throwing a general hissy fit trying to bite me. I hold him until he stops but tonight he threw three fits in a row while I held him (gently, not hurting him) and finally in a quiet moment I set him down and he turned around and bit me. He doesn't seem to be getting it and I don't have bite insurance that most service dogs from organizations do to fall back on as absolute worst case scenario. Not that I will take him out if he continues biting as he gets older but it is giving me a lot of anxiety.

Little hint of the beautiful adult he is going to be, I think. We just got full AKC registration too which is exciting. Only issue besides biting is he farts like a dump truck. Hehe.

I didn't know if this was meant to be in a cat topic or dog topic so I did it in both. Sorry.

HELP!!!

This happened 5 hours ago.

My dad left a bag of puppy food in the workshop! My cat somehow broke into it and overate herself. My dog (Clyde) also went to raid the food! They both overate themselves, and I can actually feel it on Clyde's tummy :( When I went into the workshop, my cat was sitting on the crate licking herself (she finished eating) but Clyde was still eating. After this happened, the cat immediately broke into the cat food too.

I don't know what to do and if they will be okay or not.
-My cat is only 9 weeks and Clyde is about 12.
-the vet is closed.
- This happened within a hour while we were eating in the kitchen.
- I am really worried about Clyde right now (hes sleeping a lot but has not pooped yet.)
-My cat pooped in the garden 3 hours ago.
- I took clyde for a walk after his 'dinner' but he was reluctant to go which is not normal because hes normally extremely excited. -Hes really lethargic now and all he wants to do is sleep.
-My cat ate cat food immediately after the dog food which is a LOT.
-clyde drank a lot of water during his walk.
-the cat ate a lot compared to her physical size.

size:
Cat: Can sit on my palm. shes really tiny. no breed.
dog: about 40 cm long. maltese.

Please help me! I am extremely concerned about my two pets especially my cat and I'm pretty angry at my dad. clyde is on my lap right now and he has been sleeping for a few hours now. my cat has been sitting on a rock in the yard for the past few hours.

The cat test went really well! We'll be bringing Mary home this Saturday c:
We're looking at everything now. What dry food do you all feed? Mainly looking at those of you in the UK.

@Haagen-Daagen - I'm sorry for your loss. </3

-

this year was Simba's first Christmas, and our first Christmas with a dog. he came to all of our family gatherings and somewhat behaved himself! needless to say, everybody loved him.

he's been reasonably well behaved all round, a pleasant surprise as we're all sick and training/exercise has been kept to the minimum, haha.

also - Simba's new harness! ^-^

@Haagen-Daagen - I'm so sorry, dogs are like family, and Mishka was so young, she's in mine and Millie's prayers

@Keriae - That's great, it will be brilliant to have a new doggy face on the chat, as for the dog dry food, Millie eats bakers dry food whish she mixes with her wet food but I've been thinking about changing to a brand I've seen at pets at home a few times: wainwrights, the advertisement for it seems really good and it was in the latest dog magazine, so it's worth a look I think.

@yellowwfangg - Simba's so handsome and that harness looks lovely on him

@Hooksandbones - just like humans after they eat a lot they become tired and just want to rest, if he still can't go to the toilet after another day I'd be worried and it's probably best to go to a vet then, but no serious damage can be caused by over eating just once

Anyway update on Millie - she's doing good, I've been away to Scotland for the past couple of days with my family and sadly it would be too crowded for Millie to come, plus she doesn't take car journeys well so she stayed with my Granda for two days, along with Lexi, which was fine, although he doesn't walk her as much as he should so that will be my first job in the morning, [she's already had a long one from us tonight] but at the moment she's content with chasing bugs, she found a big fly that was bothering me but she can't reach it, however she chased a big spider into a corner and is trying to 'lick it out' it's quite funny to watch.

(In the UK none of the spiders are venomous so don't worry, she's not in any danger, and the spiders small and half dead as it is)

[My favorite online pet store is having a sale and everything's half price and more Eek!]

Omg it's a spider!

@ Haagen I am so so so sorry for your loss!! Mishka is so adorable, and I really enjoyed watching her grow. It breaks my heart to hear this, and you are in our thoughts!
Addy and Izzy are sending loving thoughts as well :)

Well, got back from visiting my parents in California and petsitter said Addy has been having diarrhea.... Keeping a close eye on her and giving her rice and plenty of water. I am hoping it clears up by tomorrow otherwise I will need to take her to the vet. Watching closely to make sure there isn't any blood or anything. She seems fine, but I will defiantly be pushing fluids and watching her closely to make sure she is okay.

Also I entered Izzy and Addy into a photo contest. If you guys can vote for one of them it is greatly appreciated!!!
