@eyeris
Also get them to a vet to get checked for mites and getting them spayed/ neutered will help a huge amount with litter training and keep them from marking. Everything cinnabunny said is all on point! I suggest watching lennonthebunny and 101rabbits on YouTube. Lennonthebunny is an entire channel about free roaming your rabbit and I LOVE her!

Update on my rabbit!!!!
They let me pet them and they even beg to be pet now lol. They won’t let me hold them and I’ve only ever picked them up to move them to the litter box if there’re peeing on the floor or in the way of me cleaning.. they like to zoom around and bunny and have flopped a bunch!!!! I still don’t know the gender but don’t want to freak them out by trying to check

Imma be new in here. So I guess:

Hi I'm .sins. I raised rabbits for a variety of reasons. I have a black 7 year old mini rex named baby she weighs a whopping 3 1/4 pounds, and a Californian buck who is the most shy boy ever. I raised for fur, meat, ARBA, 4-H, and pet. I do live somewhere where raising for fur/meat go hand in hand and everything was done to cause the least amount of harm to the animal. But nothing was ever "wasted" you could say.

I'm in college so I haven't been able to do much anymore and only have my two left and sadly I will be selling my cali buck. But I cannot wait to get another babe in the future.

@.sins.
There’s no shame in having to give up one of your pets. You’re doing what’s best for you and him!!

Also, we think my bunny is a girl, we checked the best we could but she still doesn’t like being held for more than two seconds. We’ll be calling her Curie(if she turns out to be male then it’ll be valentine). She loves giving kisses and actually runs up to me when I enter her play space. I’ve started slowly introducing her to my 1yr old son so she can get used to the loud sounds and sudden movements he makes but he’s not allowed to touch her yet. He’s still too young to quite grasp that the bunny is living and not a toy so it’s all admiring from the other side of the play pen lol

I have a lionhead bunny named Romeo, I used to breed them until I got too busy. Romeo used to be such a friendly bunny until a little bit ago. Any tips on bonding? Thanks.

There’s a lot of great videos on YouTube. One big one off the top of my head is going on a car ride with them. Have them sit in your lap while someone drives and they’ll seek to you for comfort, if it’s with another rabbit the sit them next to each other and they’ll seek each other out for comfort. Also another human-bunny bonding tip would be just lay on the floor and let them come up to and sniff you/hop on you so they realize you’re safe

Thanks, I've never heard of the car ride trick!
