I'm glad you had fun! It is always awesome to find new things to do with our dogs. There are some fun things you can with your dog like the Do More With Your Dog or AKC trick dog titles or Dog Parkour titles!
I got stung by a yellow jacket the other day, and I've never been stung by anything before. I have been... suffering hahah. I finally am feeling a bit better and dragged myself out of bed and to the kitchen to make a *real* meal for the first time in a few days. May was the best sous chef, and we brushed up on some basic training that I haven't used since we've been stuck at home.

I'm so excited!! I may be able to get a new dog at my dad's when he moves (he's planning on moving soon) and hopefully it'll work out.
In the meantime, I'm trying to think what breed I might get. I want a medium to large breed. I already have two dogs - a jack russell and a yorkiepoo. I also have a cat and 2 guinea pigs. I live in a flat with no garden but we go out for long walks everyday. I need a breed that doesn't shed too much and can live in a flat. Thank you for any suggestions.

Please be patient <3 I have bad anxiety and get anxious over trades sometimes <3

My suggestion would be a greyhound !! And not just because I'm partial to the breed since it's my favorite lol
While they are racing dogs they are sprinters and not endurance runners . They are super lazy most of the time, generally .
They do however tend to have a very strong prey drive- so if you go with them talk to your rescue/breeder of choice to see if they get a dog in with a lower prey drive . And even so, I would recommend always crating the dog if you cannot keep an eye on them around your other animals .

Thank you so much for this suggestion! I love greyhounds, the only thing is that my yorkiepoo is small and fluffy and he's already been attacked by 3 greyhounds, so I'm a bit nervous about getting one as they must think he's a rabbit. Is there any way around this? thank you

Just found this thread. Wish I would've seen it sooner, a week or two ago we took our blue doberman, Blu to the vet because he got a chicken bone and was coughing, or so I thought he was coughing from the bone. Turns out, he has congestive heart disease and half his heart isnt working which is common for dobermans I learned from a facebook group. I really think hes only going to make it through tomorrow and I am so upset, hes my baby. I've had multiple dogs in my lifetime, but none of them I've connected with like I have with Blu. Hes the only dog I've truly loved

I have a greyhound who lives with a fluffy white toy poodle and cats! Any adoption organization you get one from should small dog/cat test their greyhounds and let you introduce any dogs you like to your own dogs to see how they get along! Some greyhounds have a lot of prey drive and are not safe with small dogs or cats, but many are workable or totally don't care. They're also used to being muzzled if you want to take that extra precaution at first. Adoption groups want to make sure you get the best dog for your situation, so they should be more than happy to help you find one who would be safe with your existing animals. I also think a greyhound could be a good fit if you can find the right one :)

I'm so sorry. My Chloe has congestive heart failure. She has lived with heart disease (mitral valve) for years (also common in her breed). Feel free to PM me if you'd like to talk.
