Rabbit Owner Chat V.2

Just adopted a little boy and drove 8 hours to take him home. He was going to be raised for meat and he was housed in a poorly sheltered run exposed to rain and wind with no hay. He’s so cute though I’m so glad I could save him ^w^

Picked up this bunny in a box today. Somebody left her on a ladies porch on a main road in town. Very random. xD The poor lady had no idea what to do with a rabbit or what to feed her. lol And her landlord would freak if she had any pets in her house. I guess our animal shelter doesn't take "exotics", so she was at a loss. She went into the locally owned pet store my friend works at and asked if she knew what to do. My friend called me up and gave me her phone number, so I picked her up today. She was well taken care of, besides her nails being a little long. Super weird... can't help but wonder what her story is.

My grandpa just passed away this week and his name was David, so I was thinking about naming her Davey.
She's a cute little Lionhead. lol

After having her a few days now, she seems pretty cage territorial. Maybe that's why they gave up on her. But it's something I am really used to, so it doesn't bother me any. lol

One of my friends has a hay allergy too. She wants guinea pigs, chinchillas or rabbits... she loves the bigger fuzzy critters... but she can't do the hay. I'm sorryyyyyyyy.
