I bought him a bigger cage with a suitable sized wheel, I have literally every toy and enrichment I can think of in his cage and he's still chewing on his water bottle and climbing to the top and hanging off the bars. He's in a zoo zone 2. I am at my wits end with him now.
How old is he? He might grow out of it. Sometime it is a phase they go through.

Chewing is a stereotypical behaviour. He probably developed it not long after you brought him home, as he was under a lot of stress then and that was how he coped. The thing is with stereotypical behaviours is that they are near impossible to break once set in place. The best thing you can do is offer heaps and heaps of other enrichment, including things to chew on. Get him out loads, tire him out so that, hopefully, he won't want to chew on his water bottle.
As for climbing and hanging off of the bars; Orion does that. She hangs upside down by her back legs, she moves across the entire top like that. As long as there is a deep substrate to cushion his fall it should not be a problem.

@ darkvoodooThat sounds perfect, if they stick by themselves. I can't binder clip, 'coz of the shape of them, otherwise, I'd bider clip fleece down.
I'll have a look for some
@ HorseLover!What Ker said XD
But just to add about the bar climbing, we call it monkey barring XD They're just climbing, it's no big deal.
Wish my hams did it more, it's so funny XD

Just had the shock of a lifetime.
My sister was cleaning Honey out and afterwards we had her on my bed. She offered food to her which she took (she's a greedy little thing and took it all) and then before we knew it she'd fallen off of my bed and onto the laminate floor. A good three feet she fell, straight onto her back, poor thing. She screamed and then was still - we honestly thought she was dead. I ran to get mum as neither of us drive, and by the time we got back upstairs (my mum's not very fast) she'd come round and was moving like normal. She did wee herself in shock, poor thing, but we're hoping she's fine. She's moving smoothly and seems to be okay, but we're going to observe her for at least an hour, and once she's calmed down I'm going to check for any injuries. Nothing was bleeding, thank god, but hopefully she hasn't hit her head too hard and the food hasn't cut the inside of her cheeks.

Scruff her and check her teeth. Don't stay hands off for too long, I always engage with them immediately right after a fall. How is she?
