I dont think the state willingly hands out these licence. these major licences are most likely numbered...not everyone can have one. I know when it comes to being a bar tender the licence is VERY costly and very FEW are given out that way there isnt a bar every which way. I am sure the same goes for these animals.

exactly!
I know in ontario you are filling out constant paper work if you are a custodian. It's not just "heres your liceance have a nice day". You can't even keep the animal perminantly. it has to...
1.Be Released
2. Be Put in a zoo
or...
3. Be Put to sleep.

Its not like you can just go "i have a liceance so i can do whatever i want with this dangerous animal"

I think this is very helpful and thought provoking if you want to get a wolf dog. :)

You can take a wolf out of the wild, but you can't take the wild out of the wolf.
Oh my god, she didn't even treat it like a dog, she treated it like a baby!
If you treat a dog like a human, it'll treat you like a dog.
So if you treat a wolf like a human, it'll make a treat out of you ._.

Feh. People need to do their homework when they're buying from ANY breeders. I feel sad for the dog, though. Likely, it was from a BYB...
Most fox/dog hybrids are impossible, anyway, aren't they?
Sharubii Kassua, quit stalking me.

There has NEVER been any genetic proof that it is possible. They are from the Canidae family but they are from a different genus. And i have seen this thing and to me it looks like a sheltie mixed with a husky or a shepherd... i don't see fox in it at all. Dogs are from the genus "Canis" and most members of the Canis genus can't breed with other members of the Canidae family (like fox, racoon dogs, and african wild dogs). So most likely some person's dog got pregnant and they were like "awwe they look like little foxes! lets tell people they are half fox and make a fortune!"

^^Hope that made sense^^ :?

i think someone screen cap'ed one of those folks for anti wolf(anti ignorant hyber rabid wolf fans, not extinct all lupines) or wbhf(wolfaboo hunting federation)
I think it got added there

it's just so...something how passionate wolf and other species lovers can get. that some people are (hopefully all talk) are willing to make claims of "we need a human holocaust" and "gruhhhhhhhhhhh i wanna kill all hunters by cutting open their gut and choaking them with their intestines for what they do to wolfs"

I hope those people are trolls. I mean, those people couldn't handle a any kind of "not butt kissing" comment, but yet, they say they want to eat, light on fire, murder, eviscerate, stab, poison people (but wait they are not humans so it's ok to kill people to save even cockroaches)

it's just off-putting to enjoy an animal that other people do. I want the wolf-bag from the A&P, and I Own several (forbidden due to allergies) plushies. but when other people make claims of cannibalism, that if a hunter killed a wolf "they will seek out a hunter's child and eat it"(yet then cry about being trolled)

http://psorasis.deviantart.com/art/Hitl ... -167918276

it's hard to like an animal when other people who love "and study it", don't know anything. I've learned what we know of wolves was from artificial situations. if the wolf dosen't have a world to roam, and only has "a huge cage". it will fight with it's family to be top-dog. but, allegedly, when they hit "a special" age, they do take off, to find other "new adults" to form a new pack.

I guess, if that is so, it makes sence. otherwise a species with edipos complex is..well "guess what? your fave animal thrives on incest, thus most packs are inbred, resulting in brother and sister being your sole breeding pair because they beat up mom and dad so they can have babies""
