. I loved that dog c: She was a more tan color though. My family is hunting family (you name it, we hunt it xD) and she was a great retriever and family pet

Wow, what a great age though!
I'm sorry for your loss. She sounded like a great companion!
Update: Stitch is doing much better! The tooth is out and he's practically fully recovered! He's no longer in pain, and I caught him eating Sherlock's dry food the day before yesterday! His lower jaw is a teeny bit crooked, but it doesn't seem to bother him at all. There's also no signs of infection, thank the Lord!
And we think we may have figured out why Dixie attacked him. She sees the bedroom as her safe place since we don't allow the other dogs in there. It's the one place where she can get away from them. When I was brushing her she was VERY relaxed, nearly to the point of falling asleep. When Stitch came in, it must've startled her and thinking it was Sherlock (maybe), she reacted. (That's just my rambling speculation xP)
After several days of freezing cold, we had 48F degree weather! I took Dix for a walk after church and we just got back in from playing outside. Be prepared for a photo dump soon. c;
