wolves - your opinon?

I've been watching this thread for a while, but I decided to post about the endangerments of wolf subspecies.

Timber wolves and grey wolves are the same thing, so timber wolves are not endangered. ouo

They are endangered in these states in the U.S.A- AL, AR, CA, CO, CT, DE, FL, GA, IA, IN, IL, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, ME, MI, MO, MS, NC, NP, NE, NH, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OK, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, VA, VT, WI, WV, and portions of AZ, VT, WA. They are threatened in MN. And delisted due to recovery in Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, eastern Oregon, and north central Utah. i found all my information on ecos.fws.gov and i searched Gray wolf.

The question is - do grey wolves still have a place in the ecosystem of some of those states? For example, let's talk about Massachusetts. I live in MA. In 2007 there was the first confirmed wild grey wolf sighting in 160 years. It showed up on a farm and was shot after slaughtering over a dozen sheep. They were identified as extinct here in 1840. Grey wolves do not have a place in our state's ecosystem anymore. A species can be endangered without needing conservation efforts because the species DOES NOT BELONG.

I love wolves were I live snow wolves come by my bedroom window to go into the forest and you can always hear them howling on a full moon or when you howl to them. its wonderful there mood is just like dogs. I would hate it if wolves were endangered I have adopted one at WWF already and its getting on fine its had pups so hopefully with WWFs help they will say alive.

Timber wolf = grey wolf

1. Populations are going to change. That's the way the ecosystem works. There are going to be natural ups and downs.

wolves are ok
all animals are ok
overpopulation of animals is not ok
hunting wolves to control the population is ok, and id love to hunt one myself
i also want a wolf pelt + skull but will probably never own one

also i dont appreciate wolves walking into neighbours n killing dogs (of which there are videos)
and i dont appreciate them slaughtering livestock (doesnt happen often but when it does, hot damn)

im so lucky theyre extinct in my country

thats so narrow minded. theres avidence that wolves and humans CAN live together pecefully!! wolves dont often take dogs at least id never herd of it,please back up your argument
