I've dreamed of having a pet bird since I was a kid, but unfortunately my parents won't allow me one

so much I've actually been doing my own research for years XD I'm gonna see if I can own one once I move out !!

I have always wanted a horse. I've lived on a small family farm almost all my life, we have goats, cows, pigs, chickens, geese, ducks, dogs, and cats. Horses were never allowed because they were hay burners and didn't contribute anything but entertainment. As an adult I understand now just how expensive they are but I still hope to own one someday in the future.

I long for a decent sized snake that is chill with lazing around while held, I need one for emotional support as I feel lonely a lot but struggle with people and animals are easier to be around though my dog wants more him time as he gets further into his senior years and my fish aren’t cuddle-able for their health reasons. A snake would be perfect I think but still looking at specie temperaments.

...if it was based on looks I would lean towards a hognose, something iridescent like sunbeam snake or a ball python especially of the paler colors like banana morph

I want a chameleon more than I want to live. I have never kept a reptile before, however, so I would feel bad taking on an advanced species before keeping something smaller.

I've dreamed of having a pet Fox ever since I first saw one not to keep but to take care of like sanctuary but I have none of those things so I'd never get one well at least not yet I plan in the future to work at dreamworks and maybe when I get a house and ya know the money to care for such creatures making a sanctuary I'd get one.
