Hey hello what's up
I wanted to stop in and share my baby boy who is slowly but surely growing, though he's still so tiny.
Image
Big pic!
This is Barnaby Wolfgang!

These were taken our first night with him. He's almost 5 months old now and we've had him for about a month. Time flies with puppies! He's the smartest dog I've ever owned. He was a gift from my fiance's family and I'm pretty sure his breeder is a BYB (she breeds for colour and her website is.. sketchy) but I really do think we lucked out with a good dog. The only thing that makes me :/ is the fact that I'm 99% sure he has an umbilical hernia. Our other dog had one at birth but it healed up, so at the vet's advice we're just keeping an eye on it for now.
He's a gorgeous little dude and I'm so excited to have him. I'd love to do some kind of sport with him but I'm physically disabled so idk how much I'd be able to do with him. He sure does love to fetch, though!

^ Aw he's adorable. I love his name.

I'm sure there are people with physical disabilities that do sports with their dog. It would just depend on what you can/can't do and find access to. You can always just take classes or even doing things in your own yard.

If he likes to fetch Flyball might be worth looking into some day. Treibball is another thing that come to mind.

My dawggo is at my granna’s house. Her name is Buttercup; golden retriever and collie mix. Her breath smells like death.

rant time / ignore if you dont care

okay, so (insight) i've lived in this house for 3-ish years. every now and again
    (3-4 times a week?) i hear " MARRRLEHHH ! " from outside my window.
my window looks out onto a conjoining road and a main road. to clarify,
a main road. and just to engrave that into your head, i live beside
    a gosh darn main road.
so, i was walking back from town one day (10 minute walk from town)
and standing in the middle of the conjoining road was a little black terrier.
dogs off lead is the norm around my home, but trained ones that stay by
their owner. not standing in the middle of a road, looking out onto, again,
a main road. cars zooming by. also, its important to note that despite my
road connecting to a main road, my road is quiet and we have a car go
down it maybe once every 3-5 minutes.
obviously, i'm going to check to see if he has an owner nearby. i walk up to
him carefully, trying not to startle him and he moves off of the road. he's
clearly calm because he squats down and does his business outside my
neighbours house. ok, that's fine. i scoop him up after letting him sniff my
hand and check all over the road for anyone. no one. not a single soul.
we also live in the country - you would hear someone shouting 10 roads down
for their lost dog. he had a collar, but no ID (whyy???)

so i walk this dog to my house. i have two boys of my own and living with a family
who does not by any means want another dog to stay there. then, as i'm walking
up the steps TO MY OWN HOUSE i hear a woman scream " THAT GIRLS GOT A LIL
BLACK DOG! " ok. ok great, this must be your dog right? i walk across the road to
see a woman hanging out of the window. turns out this little black dog is the
famous MARLEHHHHH (marley) who is a serial escape artist. only, he's not.

his owner never shuts the door but expects him to stay inside. i am just waiting to
hear this little black dog get run over BY CARS ON THE MAIN ROAD. it annoys me
how this owner isnt locking him inside or anything. he doesnt get walks and so is
buzzing to get out. poor lil guy.

also this happens A LOT. the neighbour HATES him because he runs out and poos on
    the floor outside there house.

If anything I feel like Sentry is a teennnyy bit pudgy, but we get ‘hEs So SkINnEy’ often. I got it from a friend and challenged the guy to pick Sen up and immediately was rewarded with “what the heck hes so heavy”. Yes. He’s quite solid, thanks.
Honey, it's in the stars
And you're my everything from here to Mars
And every word I say I truly mean
Dear darling, I hope I'm being clear
'Cause there's no one like you on earth
That can be my universe

People are to used to seeing fat dogs these days they question anything that looks normal weight. People assume dogs shpuld be round obviouslya dog shouldnot be round and obese.

not quite the same, but my chihuahua has more of the body shape of a greyhound. long, long legs and a tucked in stomach. i've had only one person question me about his weight, but i guess its different with larger dogs.
