Well... I don't know if any of you guys remember Albus, but I've got some rather sad news.
He's gone missing... I mean, it's not unusual for him to leave for a few days, three at max, but it's been a week and we haven't heard anything whatsoever- he hasn't come home for dinner, Lu is now beginning to act a little strange and the house feels slightly emptier without him. We're going to make some 'lost cat' posters to see if anyone as seen him but we're beginning to doubt we'll get him back alive. He was a rather old cat, reaching 11 this year, and we can't keep thinking the worst- that he's starved, gotten hit by a car, got attacked or something and ended up dead...
I just... really miss him.
Along with making posters I recommend putting a missing pet listing up on Craigslist and also asking around at local animal shelters and vet clinics.

Leave out a water bowl and something that he would sleep on, like a blanket or a sweater or something - the smell can help him find his way back if he happens to be lost.

I really hope it doesn't come this, but it may have been possible for him to have left and just... kind of died on his own. It happened to my friends old cat. She left (we don't know why) and a few days later, they found her somewhere near their property. She wasn't alive.
But, I don't know how often this happens to people, and I don't know how healthy or strong he was when he left, so I just hope he is okay and wherever he is, life is good. c:
I hope you find you kitty soon!
Oo it suddenly started raining really hard. Haha, it scared my cat. (Prince)

My cat thinks he's a tiger. He is so giant, 16 inches at the shoulder, and 22 inches long (not including his tail!). He sounds like a tiny kitten though, and my sister and I joke about it all the time. In my house, we have a large vase with some bamboo and algae in it, and he will always jump up on the window ledge and drink from it. He won't even drink from his water dish! He is an avid hunter, and we have to keep him from going outside in fear of him killing all the native wildlife! In spite of this, he is afraid of my 3.5-pound, 6 year old rabbit and my four small chickens! He's very confusing.

Ohhh boy, Whiskers seems to have found a new hiding place..
The box spring. I don't know if that's been one of his hiding places for a long time and I haven't noticed, but I never seen him there.

Haha, that sounds so much like my cat! Except for the 'avid winter's part. He's a big lazy butt. He was afraid of my rat, Mr whiskers before he died. (Not the cat)

I have a question for you guys!
What sort of food do you feed your cat? {What type (dry kibble, wet, raw, cooked, etc.) and what variety (brand, flavors, types of meat, etc.}
| INFJ | Capricorn | Blood Type B | Coyote Dæmon | Neutral Good | Creative Type |

I feed Orijen Regional Red kibble and rotate on their canned food every night! We rotate between several brands, since Naya will stop eating her wet food if it's the same thing for longer than a week at a time.
The brands we use:
Taste of The Wild
Against the Grain
Weruva
BFF
Evangers
Red Barn
We don't really keep track of which 'flavors' (proteins) we use, although Naya likes to alternate between poultry and fish flavored wet foods.

it sounds irresponsible, i know.
i feed honey
-purina one chicken with tenders (dry)
-the occasional party mix friskies cat treat
-the occasional (same as treats) bit of friskies wet food (she likes the "chicken in crab sauce" or whatever best. it smells STANK.) also she doesn't like tuna. i think. well she was in her travelling box for hours and when she finally got out (we had put some in a dish for her) she smelled like tuna mixed with anxious cat. but then she groomed herself. she practically lived off the tuna in her fur. just to say. and then her belly was really soft again. it was nice.

When my cat was alive we fed her dry kibble. I forgot the brand though. Then when she got sick, we added the medicine and some tuna to her food. I was aware that she could've gotten sick from mercury poisoning but she was about to pass anyways so we wanted her to be as happy as possible.
Speaking of which, my dad said I could get a new cat if I clean up "doggie duty" for a month! So happy!
