wolves are just about my favorite animal, i
respect them so much as a species, and theyre
beautiful creatures.

two of the my favorite things i own are acually
a grey wolf pelt that i hang above my bed, and
a wolf claw necklace i'll wear quite often.

Wolves have been my favorite animal for a very long time.

I really love a whole lot of animals, and if I were to think about it, I probably wouldn't be able to pick a favorite. However, I decided long ago, since I was pretty young, that wolves were my favorite animal so I've just left it at that.

They're so beautiful and cool. I'm not going to make a comment on whether or not they should be hunted because honestly I don't know enough on that subject to say anything about it. Of course, as I believe with all animals, I don't think they should ever be killed unless there's a legitimate reason for it. That's only common sense.

They're so majestic: Fur, howls, and most important: their pack. They work as a team, hunt together and stick up for each other.
Amazing animals, really. The hunters, yes, I agree, they shouldn't hunt them. But you've got to respect their choice, and let them do what they want. But, its us humans. If we love these fantastic creatures, why don't we have petitions to protect them? Its our fault.

People imagine them as rugged creatures, and parents put into the minds of children that they eat us and things like that. They. Don't. Wolves are misunderstood, like what a few comments above me said. They don't mean to hurt us: Its survival. They need to protect others, defend their pups. So if you see in the news: "Wolf kills man", think. Why did they kill them? Because we killed them. We're their enemy. That makes them suffer so much. Maybe- just maybe, they want revenge on us humans. And I don't blame them. They have rights too.

Lets save these beautiful creatures that have such a place in our heart <3

Wolves dont kill people out of revenge its not because we kill them that's humanizing them and its this kind of mind set that gets me.
Wolves kill people on instinct that's all nothing so fanciful as revenge they don't go around thinking must get revenge on humans for killing my brethrin that's Role Playing mind set.

We provoke them they eather kill us or run.
We touch there pups again we get killed.

Even maybe is to much Wolves don't think on the same cognitive level as humans it is all instinct.
The need to eat, sleep and repopulate, is all wolves think about.
They don't even know what humans are so why would they activity seek vengeance on something when they don't seek vengeance on other species.
Its pointless to a wolf.

No it couldn't. A pack of wolves ganging up on a person killing their pups isn't revenge, it's instinctual protection.

Exactly. People get these "facts" from the wolfaboo community, a community who sees wolves as practical deities. I do not dislike these people, but I dislike the fact they can't tell the difference from hunting and poaching, and humanize wolves a lot.

Hunting is legal killing of animals for game or food.
Poaching is illegal killing of animals for no good reason.

I like wolves, but it's highly unlikely a wolf would be able to track down the exact hunter who killed their pups. If you walked up to a wolf and snapped its neck, instinctively, other wolves would attack you.

I like wolves, but teenagers on the internet are kind of stupid about them, because teenagers on the internet are stupid about anything perceived as 'evil.' Sure, wolves are cool, but they aren't the greatest animals ever that honor goes to red pandas

About hunting wolves, well, no, I don't support hunting wolves. I'm a lifelong vegetarian and don't support hunting anything. But, since people hunt other animals, hunting wolves is a required thing to keep the environment in check. I don't want people to kill wolves, but I don't want wolves to overrun the world because humans have messed with their population too much.

Wolves are cool, but they're just another animal. Why is a wolf "better" then a squirrel, or deer, or rabbit, or fox, or anything?

I really love wolves. Tend to judge an animal on their typical behaviour. I think wolves are great in the way their society is. They are organized, and yet territorial. I think I prefer them over dogs because they are more independent, just as loyal and more... natural, if you know what I mean. I still love dogs though.

I thoroughly disagree with the hunting of wolves, and any animal. Creature like rabbits I suppose get hunted because they breed easily and we'd have too many, and they'd start to kill off plants and it would get out of hand. Wolves are a way to take care of that problem in certain areas. They will hunt the creatures that are killing plants and getting over populated, and then there will be more of a balance.

So yeah, I love wolves.
