Username: -Alois-Trancy-How many fish tanks do you have: 6 (only
two are
running) (
one is being
used for rodents so disregard that one)
55 gallon bowfront, 29 gallon high, duplicate 29 gallon tank in case of emergency, 2.5 gallon hexagon, 3.15 gallon critter keeper,
10 gallon tankTypes of fish that you have:55 gallonMale Betta
2 Penguin Tetras
1 Platy (others mysteriously dissappeared o_0)
5-8 fathead/rosy minnow
2 dalmatian cories
1 peppered cory
1 albino cory
(Yeah the cories are approaching the old age mark and i'm emptying out the tank to use for goldfish, so when they die i have no intentions of replacing them)
29 gallon highMale Angelfish
Single Spanner barb
Paradise Fish
Honey gourami (though i dont think he is a dwarf because he is the size of my paradise fish)
Your fishs' names:Betta - Leotello
Penguin tetras - Bonnie & Clyde
Peppered and albino cory - Salt and Pepper
------------------------------
Angelfish - Al Capone
Spanner Barb - Hitler (yeah i know horrible name, but he had a little "mustache" and my friend called him a mini hitler because he was a smaller bully and the name kinda stuck)
Paradise fish - Napoleon
Golden Gourami - (unsure, thinking Castro as in Fidel Castro, or Mussolini. I am hoping to get another fish at some point to name Stalin)
(i find that if i name my fish after bad historical influences, they live longer, so sorry if the names are offensive to you guys ^^")
How long have you had fish: Since i was 6, mostly it was bettas but community fish i've had since 7 or 8 and then i started with semi-aggressives other than bettas at 11 or 12 and got really into goldfish at 14 and made the mistake of jamming loads of comets into a small tank. From that experience, i am only gonna own fancies from now on unless i can get a pond and my dream fish/spirit animal of a white/platinum koi.
Livebearers have also been my favorites to care for. I'm tempted to apply for a general livebearer expert/helper and i have bred mollies and platies, though i don't have experience with guppies, other than having two male tequilas when i was 8-ish
I don't have pictures yet, sorry. only really old one of old fish that passed away long ago, including my most recent death, my dad's plecostamus he gave me that was twenty years old, but died at like 25. I'm not sure why he died, I just woke up one morning and my community fish were picking his carcass clean.
