i once saw two foxes in the midst of town at night while getting a soda with my friends mom. they were pretty neat, but we thought they were cats at first lol.

I've been working with animals all my life and fortunate enough to travel to places where you can get some pretty close encounters! I went great white shark cage diving once and it was incredible seeing how big these animals actually are. When I was in the cage I was able to touch a great white shark's fin which was probably the scariest but most amazing thing I've ever done. xD
My absolute favourite animal sighting was seeing my first leopard, it was just sitting by the side of the road when I was on safari. They're very hard to spot and we almost drove past it, but luckily I saw it move and we were able to back up and watch as it began to stalk some giraffe. It gave up after a bit and another car scared it away, but was definitely my favourite sighting by far.

I went night-spotting at a reserve close to where I live and saw a handful of a wallaby species with only 100 or so individuals left in the world!
Seeing wild saltwater crocodiles a couple of years ago was also pretty rad! Plus, the area our boat left from had thousands of fruit bats that had just returned to their trees and were super loud. I still have a video of heaps and heaps of bats fluttering around.
