I got my baby beardie today! The tank is huge! My grandmother couldnt even find him cuz he went straight to the basking spot where the light is red! Lol He is soo cute and I named him Gobi after the Gobi desert. I love him soo much and I am so thankful for all of your help! Here he is! Sorry about the lighting! Gobi

I rather like geckos, though I can't get one where I am at the moment due to how my landlord has the property treated for pests (it'd kill it's food too :c ). Eventually I might get a Tokay :3

I don't think they're large enough to literally take a finger off, but they do bite something fierce. Apparently they can be tamed with patience, so eventually when I've got more experience with my snake I'll be able to handle taming a Tokay :3 I'm actually building up to a peach-throat monitor, so the choice of a bit of a harder lizard is purposeful so that I can get used to caring for intermediate- to expert-level reptiles.

They're supercute as babies though, and grow up to be very pretty adults. this is the one that the breeder I got my snake from currently has in :3 I just wish they had fatter tails, I think the fat-tailed geckos are the cutest.

Thin tailed geckos scare the heck out of me.

I'm so used to leopard geckos that I automatically think that EVERY reptile without a fat tail is super underweight. I can't help it, I just looked at that Tokay baby and flinched because I thought it had been neglected, then I re-read your post and laughed at myself.

Obsessed leopard gecko woman is obsessed >w>
