Also, I've just begun leasing the most amazing Quarter horse gelding ever, but I need a bit of help. He's 6yo and not completely finished, but not green, either. We're working on teaching him to neck rein and I need some ideas for excersises I can do with him. I'm hoping to show him in Western Pleasure by the next show season, after working with him for 5 months or so. Any ideas?

Because the horses get used 24/7 all day long and when I get on it,It just basicly dies and is The slowest thing EVER

@starfighter- Then try finding ways to engage the horse, and forge a bond. Spend time with him/her outside of lesson time and learn a bit more about the horse. Once the horse is familiar with you, he/she may be more willing to work.

Riding lesson today...more drill team, YES! We have settled on the song "Dynamite" And my trainor is setting up our pattern. In a few weeks we are going to show our parents...I can't wait!
Pro has been a dream lately, and our bond has grown emensly. I love working with him!
