This is Paladin, I adopted him when he was already about two years old from a rescue. The rescue had taken him out of a pretty bad home, so he's a little skittish around new people, but he's incredibly loving and super attached to me at all times lol. his foster mom warned me about the situation he came from, and it's still a battle getting him to the vet or trimming his claws because he gets so scared, but he's absolutely my buddy and I fell in love with him as soon as I met him <3

I adopted Sabre here when he was nine months old, almost a year ago now. My older cat passed away from a diabetes complication and it hit me really hard. It hit Paladin really hard too, since he and my older cat were very close. So, I adopted Sabre to help heal the hole Jinx left some.
Sabre is one of the most interactive cats I've met. He's still young, so he's got a lot of energy in his 'gremlin mode', but he likes to come up and mess with me (try to grab my necklace, paw at whatever I'm holding, physically close any book I'm reading) whenever I'm relaxing. I can't be mad though lol, he's very sweet and cuddly and the sherpa blanket he's laying on in the picture is his favorite thing in the world and the best $10 I ever spent

Though he's really more Paladin's kitten than mine

NOTE: their collars aren't too tight! They've just settled against very fluffy necks, I check their collars every day <3
