What other fish, if any, can be kept in a 10 gallon tank with a 5 betta sorority?
Also, where do you find very large tanks? I'm looking for a 50-75 gallon that's longer than it is wide or tall since we're planning on getting a lizard. An aquarium will work when modified but I can't seem to find many options

so today my brother told me he wanted me to get him a sick/injured betta. he told me that he wanted me to help him nurse it back to health and I just smiled cause a few weeks ago he was telling me how dumb my obsession was. so needless to say, we are gonna be adding a new fish or two to the 23 I already have.

Stick with just the bettas in a 10 gallon. You could get a single mystery snail or a couple nerite snails if you really wanted something new, but you're stocked as far as fish go.
I find that it really depends on the pet store as to what size tanks you can find. I know I've found local places while traveling that were selling pretty large tanks for cheap because they no longer held water perfectly, so that would be excellent for a lizard. Petco currently is having a dollar per gallon sale up to 55 gallons, and a 55 is pretty long.
I love the fish, ESPECIALLY bettas. Trade me!
I was gone for a couple months, so I'm trying to catch back up on the pets from Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, and the month pets during that time.

yeah, I was mostly wondering about snails or something since I want something to help keep the tank looking a little cleaner. I've never kept snails before though.
I was trying to find out when the dollar per gallon sale was. is it in stores only though?

Yep, in store only. But it is every Petco in the country.

aaaaah the college I got accepted into said you can keep a fish tank 10gal or smaller meaning... either a shoal of guppies (dealing with pregnancies would be annoying so it'd be all male) or a betta and maybe a shoal of pygmy cories in with him. Any other ideas for fish that'd work in a 10 gallon?

Dario dario (aka Scarlet badis) are fun. You could have five in a well planted 10 gallon.

My bettas are gonna hate me, I have to move back home from college in 4 weeks and I'm going to have to put them in coffee cups in a cup holder to get them home.
In other news, I trained one of them, Gummy, to jump and touch my finger!
"You wanna make yourself useful?"
"Not particularly."

Today I noticed a LOT of litter in my university library's koi pond. Paper and plastic everywhere. Yuck. I told one of the librarians, and let's just say he had an audible reaction when he saw the state it was in. He said there wasn't much he could do by himself, but that he would tell somebody.
Pretty sure all the litter was blown in by the wind, but still.

2 beta fish (Male's)

How long have you had fish:Well I had 5 golden fish but they die and then i had 3 but one die so about like i don't know 10 months? Well Neon was my first pet then I got king after a week for free, so almost about 1 year i believe I lost time, and my guppies uh well hehe I am not sure, about like 9 month or more, Hehehe I don't know i lost 5 guppies so I kinda of forgot how long I had them.
